Happy New Year!

Good morning to everyone and Happy New Year!! It's finally 2009! Well, I have been celebrating all night long, ringing in the new year with my family and friends. At 12:00am, as I was celebrating the New Year, a 10-1 was given at Superior and LeClarie for a extremely large melee. It's been too loud over here to get all the details on it, but I'm pretty sure I heard that an officer was attacked. I'll get more information on it as it comes along. By the way, I will be making a second post tomorrow morning regarding crime highlights of 2008 for this neighborhood and also, the RD numbers are now HenryRobert (HR).

12:18am - Shots fired. 1646 N Central Park. No further information.

12:40am - There is way too much stuff going on right now to actually cover.

1:32am - Theft in progress. Hamlin and McLean. Male Black, wearing all black, is stealing something. No further information.

1:38am - Suspicious vehicle. 3629 W Wolfram. Red van keeps circling the area.

2:01am - Domestic disturbance. 2528 N Harding. Someone's having a problem with the girlfriend.

2:05am - 1) Battery in progress. Lawndale and Dickens. There's a fight. 2) Person calling for help. Central Park and Dickens. Someone is screaming for help.

2:23am - Disturbance. 3820 W North. Someone's causing a disturbance. This is the last call I'm doing for tonight, so good night you all and I'll be back soon enough.

2:38am - Tonight sure is busy. 1) Gang disturbance. Wrightwood and Kildare. Gang member flashing signs. 2) 2 hour old parker at 4300 W Parker. Car blocking driveway and 3) The alarm is going off at 4106 W Flecther.

I'm back. It's 10:10am.

10:11am - Criminal trespass in progress. Wrightwood and Keeler. A male Hispanic was lurking around on the property of the company located there. When security went to confront him, he ran off, but left his blue SUV on the sight.

10:30am to 10:41am - Dispatch/police chatter about a missing elderly woman from a nursing home way north (like near Granville and Cicero) who has family at 3078 N Davlin Court. At 10:41am, Beat 2523 was told to tell the family that they needed to pick her up at 6150 N Cicero since the nursing home is closed for the day.

10:47am - Burglar report. 3721 W Belmont. No further information on the job, but however, Beat car 2523 was there earlier, but the complaint was half asleep.

11:11am - Alarm. 3119 N Pulaski. No further information. If I remember correctly, there was a call just like this on December 30 at around 7:20pm.

11:14am - Beat car 2544 pulled an RD number from the 10:47am job. The RD is HR100705.

12:31pm - Domestic disturbance. 2657 N Ridgeway. Drunk husband causing a problem.

12:42pm - An RD number has been pulled from the 12:31pm job, for a 0486. It's HR100824. Beats 2525 and 2544 are going into the station with one from there.

12:50pm - Beat car 1585Frank saids a male Black with blue jeans is about to run from him on Corcoran between Central and Pine. He's asking for back up.

12:51pm - A total disregard is given at Beat 1585F's thing.

12:53pm - EMERGENCY on Zone 12. Foot pursuit. Washington and Latrobe. Male Black, 15 years old is running.

12:54pm - The offender is in custody.

1:44pm - Domestic disturbance. 3914 W Altgeld. Another call of a husband causing a problem.

2:00pm hour - Wasn't paying attention.

3:47pm - Domestic Battery. 2820 N Kenneth. Husband/wife beating each other up.

4:02pm - One of the beat cars is taking one in for Beat 2523 at the 3:47pm job. Beat 2523 pulls an RD number for a 0486. It's HR101070 or HR101071.

4:09pm - Battery vitcim injuried. 1951 N Monticello. Someone was beaten up and is now bleeding.

4:37pm - Vice complaint. 4419 W Diversey. Males are drinking.

4:47pm - Domestic disturbance. 4006 W Wellington. 15 yr old grandson is smoking pot.

5:00pm hour - Was not paying attention. Again.

6:07pm - Beat car 2523 got flagged down at Belmont and Milwaukee by a citizen who's complaining of leg pains. EMS is on the way.

6:24pm - Parker. 2828 N Ridgeway (on my block, about 5 doors down). Black car blocking the fire hydrant (I can't see anything in the dark though). I know who called this one in but won't reveal their name.

6:30pm - The 6:24pm job is a 6Mary. There's no car blocking the hydrant.

6:48pm - Beat car 2525 has a parker on the beat on the box.

7:00pm - I'm going to go eat my dinner now. My mom gets the radio for the rest of the night, so I'll be back tomorrow. Good night.
