Late March snowstorm in Chicago

Good morning, everyone, it's 9:27am. We're currently having a snowstorm in Chicago (yes, in late March). About 3 to 5 inches are excepted. Factored with the wind and snow, this is going to be a cold day, so I don't think there will be too many crimes committed today. Here is crime for our residents north of Belmont today.

9:24am - Wires down. 3311 N Central Park. In the alley.

9:35am - Beat car 1788 has a hand waver at 3310 W Addison about downed wires.

9:44am - Beat 1731 says there are wires down at the 9:24am job. He isn't sure what kind they are and they don't appear to be live, so he wants 1730 to come over and make a determination.

9:48am - Beat car 1788 says a pole with wires on it are blocking the roadway to Dunkin Donuts. He wants dispatch to call a cable or phone company to see if that's their wires or pole.

10:56am - Beat 1741 is on a traffic stop at Belmont and California. He's giving a plate to dispatch as well.

10:57am - Beat car 1741's plate comes back clear and valid.

11:06am - Beat 1788 is asking for an ETA on when phone company will be out. All they say is that "it's on the list".

11:09am - Beat car 1741 codes out the 10:56am traffic stop as 19Mary.

11:32am - Beat 1788 says that ComEd just arrived and said that the wires were phone wires.

11:37am - Beat car 1730 says that the wires are definitely phone wires. 1788 is going to need a relief. 1730 also says that the phone company needs to respond because someone is going to get hurt.

11:41am - Beat 1733 has been chosen to relieve 1788.

12:14pm - Traffic accident. Francisco and Belmont. No further information.

1:37pm - They're calling back on the 9:24am job.

1:42pm - Disturbance. 3400 N Ridgeway. The customer in Flash cab #224 is refusing to pay.

1:48pm - The 1:42pm job is coded out 5Boy because nothing was found.

1:49pm - Now Flash cab #224 is reporting a theft at 4300 N Ridgeway. That may be the correct address of the 1:42pm job as well.

2:39pm - Disturbance. Addison and the Kennedy Expressway. Female White pandhandling.

About 3:05 to 4:07pm - I wasn't paying attention. Sorry. I'll cover this time period tomorrow.

4:34pm - Suspicious person. Pulaski and Newport. Male Black in a blue coat is asking for money. Heading towards Milwaukee.

7:18pm - Burglar alarm. 3330 N Kimball. At the Marathon gas station. Glass break motion. This is the last call I'm covering for the night, so good night everyone and I'll be back tomorrow.

i can't believe anyone bothered to report the woman who panhandles on the expressway ramp at addison. she's there every day and never causes any problems.

Well, apparently, they did. If she doesn't bother anybody, than that's just dumb as into why they called on her.
