Battery at Ames School

Good afternoon, everyone, it's 3:45pm. Today has been a good day for me. Sorry I wasn't here this morning. It was quiet and I was doing other stuff. Here's crime for this afternoon and evening.

3:30pm - Battery. 1920 N Hamlin. At the Ames school. Two students are being held for battery.

3:51pm - Beat car 2507Adam has an accident at Fullerton and Lawndale. One party is injured and the other party has a wrecked car.

4:02pm - Beat 2507A says he needs a car to do the accident report.

4:03 to 4:04pm - Beat car 2593Tom (the traffic unit in 25) chatters with dispatch regarding the Fullerton and Lawndale accident. It's revealed by dispatch that there's another accident at Fullerton and Monticello, but when Beat 2507A was asked about that, he said he sent them in.

4:06pm - Beat car 2507A says Ambulance 7 is taking the injured person to the hospital while the other party waits at 3653 W Fullerton.

4:07pm - An RD number has been drawn from the 3:30pm job. It's HR197038 with the event number of 11333.

4:08pm - Battery in progress. Kelvyn Park (4438 W. Wrightwood). 50 males fighting in the park.

4:19pm - Check the well being. 2003 N Pulaski. At the Armitage/Pulaski currency exchange. Female in her 70s with a red coat is screaming that people are going after her son. Caller says she seems confused.

4:26pm - An hour old disturbance at North and Central Park has finally been assigned. This is inside of the car of the car dealership. Male yelling at the owner.

4:29pm - Beat 2544 has a traffic stop at 2027 N Avers.

4:31pm - Shots fired. 2200 N Karlov. At the market. Gang members shooting infront.

4:32pm - Beat car 2544's plate comes back clear.

4:34pm - A slow down is given at the 4:31pm job.

4:35pm - 1) Disturbance. 2550 N Pulaski. At the Marathon gas station. 4 to 5 males are refusing to leave. 2) Narcotics. 3701 W Diversey. Male Hispanic in a red coat is selling drugs.

4:46pm - Beat 2523 gets a parker on the PDT on the beat.

4:47pm - The 4:35pm disturbance is coded out 5Frank and the selling is a 19Paul.

4:57pm - Prostutiton. Armitage and Springfield. Female Hispanic, 25-30 years old, black coat and pants is doing her thing.

5:10pm - Ride w/ Fire. 2024 N Pulaski. Car on fire inside a garage.

5:23pm - Beat car 2555 has a traffic stop at Fullerton and Lawndale.

5:29pm - Beat 2555 is dispersing two for gang loitering at 3655 W Fullerton. Event number of 14121.

5:37pm - Parker. 3700 block of W Wabansia. Premits.

5:42pm - Beat car 2523 gets another parker and a selling on the PDT on the beat.

5:45pm - Beat 2593T says there's a sinkhole at 3738 W Fullerton. Dispatch is letting streets and sanitation know.

5:56pm - Criminal trespass in progress. 1644 N Hamlin. Gangbangers are trespassing in the vacant buliding and the caller thinks they're going to set it on fire.

5:59pm - Beat car 2534 says they have two people in the back of 1644 N Hamlin.

6:12pm - Theft (more like carjacking). Pulaski and Fullerton. Two males, one in a blue hoodie, stole the caller's '88 maroon Delta car but they bailed out and the caller attempted to chase them. They're running in the alley east of Pulaski.

6:15pm - Battery in progress. 3658 W Wabansia. Girlfriend getting beaten up by the boyfriend. The unit responding is advised that they've been drinking and doing drugs all day.

6:16pm - The 6:12pm job is related to a job that Beat 2522 had at 2221 N Cicero.

6:17pm - Police/dispatch chatter regarding the 6:12pm job.

6:20pm - The 6:12pm job is probably gonig to be coded out because the unit that responded, 2524, is clear and is heading for gas. 2524 gets a vice complaint for afterwards which will be read out when they clear from gas.

6:33pm - I have to go eat now. I'll be back soon.

6:49pm - The vice complaint for Beat 2524 is read out. It's at 3821 W Altgeld. Two male Hispanics, one with a blue and grey demis (whatever that is) jacket and another one with a green hoodie, are selling and using drugs. The subject with the green hoodie.

6:50pm - Person with a gun. Palmer and Pulaski. Six male Hispanics jumped out of cars with guns. There's supposed to be an accident on scene.

6:52pm - A slow down is given at 6:52pm job.

6:53pm - Battery in progress. Fullerton and Pulaski. Two male Hispanics cut off someone in a white van on the road and they are fighting now.

6:54pm - Beat car 2525 gives a flash out on a robbery that happened at Altgeld and Tripp about 20 minutes ago. Two male Hispanics, wearing all black and ski masks robbed the vitcim of a HP laptop. They're 15 to 16 yrs old. One offender implied they had a weapon but no weapon was seen.

6:56pm - Beat 2555 is dispersing two for gang loitering at 3655 W Fullerton. The event number is 15857.

7:02pm - The 6:50 and 6:53pm jobs are related.

7:03pm - Three males are attempting to break into Kelyvn Park HS. The males drove up in a two door white Pontiac. One male is wearing a black hoodie. Another male is wearing a white hoodie with a black hoodie over it. No description on the third male. The males are pulling on the door handles of the main enterance.

7:14pm - The 7:03pm job is coded out.

7:15pm - An RD number has been pulled on the 6:50/6:53pm jobs. It's HR197337 with the event number of 15739. Beat car 2593T is taking all of this over from cars 2523, 2524, 2544, 2546 and 2548 that were on scene.

7:37pm - Suspicious person. 2020 N Hamlin. Two males are lurking around. Caller is concerned because of a string of car windows being broken lately in the area.
