Bus alarm on CTA bus #1902

Good morning, everyone, it's 6:15am. Today, I head back to school after a nice 3 days off, but I'm really not complaining because we've got another day off on Thursday (for report card pick-up. I still have to go with my mom) and then we're off for Spring Break all next week. That's exciting if you ask me! Anyway, here is 25th district crime this morning before I go and for this afternoon/evening. I will also be monitoring 17th from when I get home until 4:07pm (to make up for the time I didn't pay attention during that time period yesterday).

6:10am - Bus alarm. On Pulaski. Beat car 1113 orginally got the assignment at Augusta and Pulaski but they're suspecting that the bus is somewhere on Pulaski in 25. Update at 625am: There is no bus numbered #1902 doing the Pulaski route today. I just checked.

3:24pm - I'm back.

3:32pm - Missing person. At the ULAC group home. No further information.

3:53pm - Beat 1711 has a traffic stop at Addison and Avondale. Running an ID.

4:06pm - Beat car 1711 codes out the stop as 19Paul.

4:07pm - The radio has been switched back to 25 and Beat 2505 is doing a park check at Kenwell Park.

4:35pm - Gang disturbance. Belmont and Central Park. Gangbangers throwing beer bottles at passing cars and throwing up gang signs.

4:36pm - They're also calling at Belmont and Monticello for the same thing as the 4:35pm job. A 17th district unit is also responding.

4:42pm - The 17th district took over the 4:35/4:36pm jobs.

4:49pm - Beat 2525 is going in with a TBD from a traffic stop at Belden and Keystone.

4:55pm - Beat car 2555 asks for a DOC mission event number. It's 14407.

4:57pm - Beat 2504 is asking if dispatch has any history of a Battery report for Ames school, 1920 N. Hamlin, on today's date. Dispatch says that she doesn't have anything for that location. Then, 2504 asks her if she could search the address of 1845 N Springfield. Nothing for that location either. Finally, 2504 gives the RD number of HR243013 to see if there's anything on it. All it has is "Ames" on it. Address of occurrence is 1900 N Springfield.

5:15pm - Violation order of protection. North and Monticello. Caller who has a order of protection against the wife is on the street right now, trying to take the kids.

5:21pm - Assault in progress. 2107 N Lawndale. Gangbangers VS residents.

5:22pm - Beat car 2525 asks for the event number from his stop. It's 12265.

5:23pm - A slow down is given at the 5:21pm job.

5:25pm - A grey van with tinted windows just took off from Beat 2555 at 2107 N Lawndale. Car is approaching Dickens.

5:26pm - The van is heading east in the north alley of McLean towards Drake. Inside of the vehicle are two male Hispanics who may have guns.

5:27pm - 1) The van may have been a Chevy Malibu. 2) Beat car 2555 lost the vehicle. 14th district has been notified.

5:28pm - Battery in progress. Milwaukee and Hamlin. Group of people fighting.

5:29pm - Beat 1406Henry may have the vehicle from the 5:21pm job stopped at California and Evergreen. It has a female driver. It's a sliver Malibu with rims on it.

5:30pm - It's a negative on 1406H's stop.

5:37pm - The 5:28pm job is coded out 19Paul.

6:34pm - I have to go eat now. I'll be back soon..

6:49pm - I'm back from eating.

6:52pm - Beat car 2524 gets a disturbance on the PDT.

7:00pm - Theft in progress. 2943 N Ridgeway. Male Hispanic with a tan jacket and a male Black with a green jacket are attempting to steal a white van behind the address in the alley near Oakdale.

7:04pm - A slow down is given at the 7:04pm job per 2555.

7:09pm - EMERGENCY on Zone 12. Beat 2532 is chasing a male Black on Crystal. Heading west from Lockwood.

7:10pm - Beat car 2532 lost the offender. The offender has a black hoodie and he's wanted for taking off on 2532 after an attempted street stop.

7:11pm - The offender is 6'1, about 190 pounds, 20-22 yrs old.

8:00pm - Burglary in progress. 2841 N Springfield. Caller says they can hear people talking and walking upstairs and the caller's in the building with their small children.

8:04pm - A slow down is given at the 8pm job.

8:05pm - The 8pm job is given a 19Paul because it was an older kid of the caller's that they didn't know was up there. Also, I have to go now. Good night, everyone, and I'll be back tomorrow.

8:52pm - Assault in progress. 2600 N Lawndale. Group of male teens, one with a red cap on, are chasing two other male teens. Note: Yep, I had to come back, LOL.

8:54pm - A slow down is given on the 8:52pm job.

8:56pm - The 8:52pm job is coded out 19Paul. And I'm gone for real now. Good night.
