Big fight explodes on Milwaukee

Good morning, everyone, it's 12:08am. Stuff is happening already. We've got a large group of people fighting around Central Park and Milwaukee. Oh boy. This may only be the beginning of a crazy day. Here is crime for today.

12:00am - Beat car 2554 says there's a large brawl ensuing at 2957 N Milwaukee at the scene of a party. They're asking for cars even though there are 14th districts on scene. Multiple units enroute.

12:02am - A slow down is given on the 12am melee.

12:04am - The crowd is heading south on Milwaukee. I'm switching over to 14 to cover this.

12:07am - It sounds like that the crowd's clearing out.

12:19am - I'm heading to bed now. I'm too tired to stay up. Good night, everyone, and I'll be back in a few hours. If anymore stuff happens from this Milwaukee brawl, please email me about it.

9:03am - I'm back. Beat 2523 does a premise check at 3181 N Milwaukee.

9:15am - Beat car 2524 gets a parker on the PDT.

9:16am - Domestic disturbance. 3939 W Wabansia. The husband who had a report filed on him after attacking the caller is out in front right now.

9:45am - Beat 2523 is heading into 25 regarding something at 3133 N Hamlin. The officer spoke too low for me to hear what that something was.

10:41am - Battery vitcim injured. 3160 N Milwaukee. A male was beaten up and EMS is rolling for him.

10:50am - Burglar report. 3125 N Ridgeway. No further information.

11:10am - Beat car 2520 says he sent in two cars from an accident at 3080 N Milwaukee.

11:22am - An RD number is pulled from the 10:50am job. It's HR203275 with the event number of 07066.

11:25am - Traffic accident. 4400 W Diversey. No further information.

12:31pm - 1) Beat 2523 asks for a SOB Burglary mission on the beat. 2) Disturbance. 3067 N [didn't catch the street]. Males are drinking in front.

12:53pm - Beat car 2580Eddie draws an RD number for an on view at 3181 N Milwaukee. It's HR203411 with the event nunber of 09445.

1:11 to 1:13pm - EMERGENCY on Zone 12. Congress and Central. Male Black running west in an alley.

1:13pm - The subject is in custody.

2:17pm - Beat 2580David asks for a burglary mission on 2523's beat.

2:30pm - Assist the citizen. 2236 N Central Park. Someone needs help getting some belongings. Note: I know about this location all too well and so do the cops, by the sound of things.

2:31 to 2:34pm - Beat cars 2544/2546/2525 make comments about the 2:30pm job. Comments such as "we have prior history over there", "they're calling again?" and others are made.

2:36pm - Beat 2514 is approaching the 2:30pm job. 2544 tells him that he doesn't want to respond to that job. 2514 responds that it's too late, he's turning the corner.

2:38pm - The annoying aunt of the caller wants a lieutenant but Beat car 2544 asks for 2520 to respond first.

2:46pm - The request for a supervisor job just popped up on dispatch's board from 2236 N Central Park. The narrative reads that the police are trying to get in. One officer tells dispatch that they're in the middle of the street, so that's not possible. Another officer says that they can't get in because of all the junk on the porch. It sounds like the police hate the people at 2236 N Central Park. A little later, in the comments section, I'm going to put how many times these people have called for the police and possibly their names.

3:00pm - Beat car 2544 codes out the 2:30pm job as a 1Paul "for now".

3:23pm - Traffic accident. 3033 N Pulaski. No further information.

3:30pm - I'm going give my mom the radio until my dinner, then after dinner, I'll be back.

7:41pm - I'm back. Anyway, Beat 2524 gets a parker on the PDT.

8:08pm - Domestic disturbance. 3046 N Konster. On the 1. The husband is drunk and the callers do not want him there. He's on the back porch, getting aggressive. The wife and children called on him.

8:17pm - EMERGENCY on Zone 12. 5002 W Ohio. Sounds like a foot chase is starting.

8:18pm - Everything is ok at 5002 W Ohio.

8:20pm - Parker. 3732 W Palmer. Premit.

8:22pm - Criminal damage to property in progress. Milwaukee and Monticello. Three male Hispanics are tagging the garages in the alley.

8:25pm - Narcotics. Somewhere on Pulaski (dispatch won't read it out) on 2525's beat. People getting high.

8:46pm - Domestic disturbance. 2958 N Konster. In the basement. The 17 yr old sister went missing 2 days ago but now, she has returned and is trying to leave again. The sister is described as a female Hispanic, around 5'7, black sweater and demin pants.

8:48pm - A Gang or Tac unit is requested for people getting high on 2523's beat. Beat car 2563Boy answers up for it.

8:56pm - Beat car 2523 tells 2548 to disregard coming to the 8:46pm job since he's going to code it out in a few minutes.

9:10pm - Disturbance. 1720 N Springfield. Males running through the yards in the alley.

9:26pm - Beat car 45Sam16 asks to be held down at Armitage and Ridgeway.

9:28pm - Beat 45S16 asks for a RD number from the 9:26pm thing. It's HR204082 with the event number of 18265.

9:45pm - Parker. 2000 block of N Kedvale. Premits.

10:12pm - Criminal trespass in progress. 4000 W Diversey. I'm guessing at Macy's. A security guard says someone in a beige car is refusing to get off the property.

10:21pm - Alarm. 3042 N Milwaukee. Sounds like produce something is going off.

11:31pm - Criminal damage to property. 2847 N Pulaski. Three male Hispanics just tagged the south side of the buliding. They're walking off.

11:39pm - Beat car 2544, who was assigned the 11:38pm job, is told to disregard by 2550, who's on scene.

On February 21, 2009 at 2236 N. Central Park at 12:17pm, a female called about a relative (I believe) that beat her. A report was made on that one and the offender was arrested.

On March 4, 2009 at 7:54pm, the same caller who called on 2/21/09 called about a neighbor that was attempting to collect money from her. I don't believe that incident is related to the 2/21/09 incident, but you never know.

Today, 3/7/09, at 2:30pm, a woman (not the same caller) needed some assistance getting belongings from the house (I think because this woman was the offender from the 2/21/09). That turned ugly when police arrived, as the caller's aunt requested a lieutenant regarding "police trying to get into the house". A little before that, beat car 2544 noted that the aunt wasn't cooperating with police. Anyway, an officer replied that he couldn't get into the house because of the garbage. I'm guessing 2520 responded because the job was coded out 1Paul at 3pm.

It seems to me these people have nothing better to do. I think they need to stop calling the cops so much over their drama. Quote/unquote, "we've had prior history over there," per unit 2546. And this is before I started the blog. They've called ALOT over since at least August 2008.

If there were a street fight going on at Milwaukee and Ridgeway (for example) and we have at least six officers on scene over on Central Park, who would respond? If we had a shooting, stabbing or big brawl (god forbid), you could thank these people at 2236 for having six officers handling a stupid manner.

To the folks at 2236 N. Central Park, if you're reading: handle the drama yourselfs. The cops are sick of you guys calling because they've got more serious calls to respond to.
