Traffic Stop @ North Ave./Pulaski

Good morning, everyone, it's 12am. It's a clear night with temps in the lower 70s. Today will be sunny with temps in the upper 80s. Monitoring 25 today, and tomorrow, then will monitor 17 on Friday. I don't have anything else to say, so here's crime for today.

12:15am - Beat car 2535Robert has a traffic stop at North and Pulaski, and with that, I'm gone for the night. See you all in the morning. Have a good night, and be safe.

7:46am - I'm back. Good morning, everyone.

8:48am - Criminal damage. 36XX W Dickens. Someone busted out the caller's car windows.

8:55am - Beat 2582Foot has a traffic stop at 4421 W Diversey.

8:56am - Beat car 2525 is asking for a call back on Dickens.

11:25am to 12:35pm - I fell asleep. I'm sorry.

12:42pm - Beat car 2524 is doing a park check at Kelvyn.

12:55pm - Gang disturbance. 29XX N Ridgeway. Two males in green representing.

12:59pm - Beat 2500, 25th District Commander, is on the 2900 block of Ridgeway and doesn't see any gang activity, so the 12:55pm job is a 5Boy for now.

3:02pm - Think I missed a call in the area, and I think it was a robbery report. Sorry guys, so much on my mind lately. I promise to do better blogging tomorrow. But it has been quiet on Zone 12 in general, and even more quiet in this area.

6:00pm - Battery in progress. 3857 W Belmont. Four people fighting with sticks.

6:19pm - Assault in progress. 37XX W Concord. Two people were having sex in a vehicle behind the caller's garage but now everyone's arguing.

6:26pm - Beat car 2535 is running a plate from the 6:19pm job.

6:53pm - Assault in progress. Lawndale and North Ave. Red Dodge Durango with a plate of 1270647 had six female gangbangers in it threatening bodily harm to the caller.

6:58pm - Beat 41Nora70Charlie investigated the 6:51pm job and it's coded 19P.

6:59pm - Oh, nevermind. Beat 2520 has the victim from the 6:51pm job. He needs 2535 to come over to do paper. They're on the way.

7:00pm - Beat 2510 is saying that the offenders from the 6:53pm job live on the 2000 block of N Kedzie.

7:02pm - Criminal damage in progress. 24XX N Kostner. Male Hispanic with a white/blue shirt and black pants is throwing bottles and rocks at cars and is damaging them.

7:03pm - Information for the CPD. Wellington and Kostner. People are not stopping at the stop sign.

7:14pm - Parker. 41XX W Wellington.

7:22pm - Burglar alarm. 27XX N Hamlin.

7:26pm - Disturbance. 21XX N Avers. Intoxicated male Hispanic, 35 to 40 years old with a green Blackhawks shirt is trying to get into people's yards via the alley.

7:33pm - Gang disturbance. Lawndale and Dickens.

7:41pm - Gang disturbance. Belmont and Monticello.

7:46pm - Parker. On 2523's Beat.

8:13pm - 1) Vicious animal. On 2523's Beat. 2) Vice complaint. On 2523's Beat. 3) Parker. On 2523's Beat.

8:21pm - Beat 2582 has a man down at the northwest corner of Tripp and Fullerton.

8:27pm - Suspicious vehicle. 23XX N Monticello. Male Black with a black baseball cap and a jacket is loitering in the alley.

8:42pm - Backlog in 25 at 20:42 hours.

8:46pm - Criminal trespass. 24XX N Hamlin.

9:00pm - Beat 6736 is wondering if Dispatch received a call of a traffic accident at Fullerton and Pulaski for a car that hit a fence. She did, and she'll send a car over. A unit then comes on the air and says they'll go over.

9:40pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back soon.

9:58pm - I'm back. Good evening, everyone.

10:11pm - Disturbance. 1633 N Hamlin. Male loitering by the daycare center.

10:36pm - Child abuse. 3181 N Milwaukee. At the Shell gas station.

11:57pm - Narcotics. On 2525Robert's Beat.

12:00am - I'm going to go for the night. I'll be back in the morning. Good night, everyone.

We need to bring back the Midnight Basketball League that brought down crime rates during the overnight hours. This was done in the 90' CHA Midnight Basketball. We can can now make it a Section 8 Basketball. Don't laugh this really worked!

Ridgewayres, I definitely agree. He's so proactive, and that's definitely a good thing for our community. So far, he's been on the streets everyday since he's started working here.
