Good morning, everyone, it's 9:54am. It's a sunny morning with temps in the mid 70s, and today will be in the upper 70s with sunshine. Monitoring 25 today, and will be monitoring most of the day, although I do need to get off for two hours at some point during the afternoon, so I can do my homework from my Math class that I was assigned yesterday. I want to do the best I can, so I'm taking it seriously. But if you're wondering why I'm home today, my classes only meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (that's just for my Math class, though). So with that, here's crime for most of today.
10:09am - Disturbance. 2004 N Pulaski. Landlord won't let a doctor into the clinic.
11:06am - Battery in progress. McLean and Lawndale. Group fighting over a damaged car.
12:48pm - Ok, I'm going to go do my homework. I'll be back later. See you all then.
3:53pm - I'm still working on my homework, but I'll listen to the radio while I'm doing it. Math class is so hard.
4:18pm - Disturbance. 36XX W George.
4:43pm - Hold-up alarm. 16XX N Hamlin.
4:45pm - A total disregard is being given on the 4:43pm job per Beat car 2535.
4:54pm - Gang disturbance. Kelvyn Park.
4:57pm - Suspicious person. 25XX N Hamlin.
4:59pm - Beat car 2525 is doing some sort of follow-up investigation at 28XX N Kildare.
5:02pm - Battery in progress. 3934 W Diversey. Group of males beating and robbing another man in front of the Walgreen's.
5:04pm - Couple of calls coming in on the 5:02pm job. Victim is running and the guys are chasing him. There's a fight going on.
5:05pm - A slow down is being given at Walgreen's. It's strictly a battery, no robbery involved. Guy was beaten up.
5:30pm to 6:40pm - I fell asleep. I'm sorry guys. I promise to do better monitoring after I come home from class tomorrow afternoon and on Thursday.
8:06pm - 1) Parker. 41XX W Wellington. 2) Burglary in progress. 3943 W Diversey.
9:33pm - I think there was a call in the area, but I'm not totally sure. Sorry, guys.
11:33pm - Recover the stolen vehicle. 31XX N Davlin.
12:00am - I'm going to go for the night. I'll be back in the morning, for a little while, before I go to class. Have a good night, everyone, and I'll see you all then.
