Good morning, everyone, it's 12am. It's a clear overnight with temps in the mid 60s and today will be around 80 with some clouds. I'm monitoring 25 today, then tomorrow, I'll be monitoring 14 and 25 in a special "Back-2-School schedule for the year-round CPS schools that go back tomorrow. I'll be beginning my coverage with 14 at 7:45am, and will monitor until 9:20, then I'll cover 25 until 2:45pm, and then I'm going back over to 14 from 2:45pm to 4pm. Finally, after 4, I'll be back with 25 for the rest of the day. But in the meantime, here's crime for today.
12:30am - Battery victim injured. Fullerton and Central Park. 47 year old man is injured.

8:12am - I'm back. Good morning, everyone.
10:40am - Person down. Pulaski and Armitage. Man down. EMS is rolling.
12:24pm - EMS run. 36XX W Dickens. 59 year old man not breathing, possible DOA.
12:28pm - Beat car 2535 has a suspicious vehicle at 3812 W North Ave. In the alley. He's investigating now.
12:36pm - Beat car 2523 has a bona fide DOA at the 12:24pm job. Beat car 2524 is being asked to go over to start the paper since 2523 will be heading home in a little bit. Beat 2520 is notified. Medical Examier's office needs to be notified. 59 year old man died of natural causes. You can hear someone screaming in the background. Awww ... :(
12:41pm - 2523 wants to know what ambulance and what CFD Engine responded. CFD Engine #76 and ambulance #48 responded.
1:14pm - Loud music disturbance. 18XX N Pulaski.
2:48pm - 1) Parker. 18XX N Harding. 2) Loud music disturbance. 18XX N Pulaski.
4:05pm to 4:50pm - I fell asleep. I'm sorry, guys. I was really, really tired though.
5:42pm - Battery in progress. North and Lawndale. Four males fighting on the street with bottles.
6:00pm - Beat 2520 is at his lunch location near Kenneth and Diversey, and has a handwaver. Person's saying that a male with a blue shirt and blue jeans just tried to break into a home on the 2800 block of N Kenneth.
6:49pm - Suspicious person. 2600 block of N Harding. Male, short with a blue hoodie and jeans is trying every car door on the block, trying to get in. He's headed towards Koz Park on Harding.

7:26pm - Gang disturbance. 1633 N Hamlin. Group of them loitering in front of the daycare. Caller is concerned because there was a homicide in the area overnight last night.
7:47pm - Beat 2599 is giving information on a potential gang war that might erupt beginning tonight, on the south end of 2535's Beat, on the 1200 and 1300 blocks of N Springfield. There were two shootings in the area last night, just south of Division (on Beat 1112), one happening at Division and Keystone, and the other one occurring at Harding and Thomas, which resulted in a murder. Gang intellegence suggests that a male White, 32 years old with a gray t-shirt and red shorts might be the main offender. I'm giving out this information because of the Hamlin gang disturbance call where someone was concerned because of a homicide. So for those of you on 2535's Beat, keep an eye on things this evening.
8:09pm - Narcotics. Schubert and Kilbourn. Selling.
8:24pm - Disturbance. On 2524's Beat.
8:33pm - Shots Fired. 18XX N Harding. 20 shots heard.
8:34pm - Beat 2554 is coding out the 8:33pm job as 19P. They're in the area and those are fireworks.
8:45pm - Gang disturbance. 20XX N Karlov. 15 of them out there, loitering and jumping on people's cars.
9:14pm - Loud music disturbance. 25XX N Hamlin.
9:21pm - Person down. Milwaukee and Belmont.
9:35pm - Missing person report. 40XX W Dickens.
10:14pm - Criminal damage. 24XX N Kostner. Male in his 40s damaged something.
10:20pm - 1) Traffic accident. 3088 N Milwaukee. 2) Support unit request. On 2523's Beat.
10:22pm - The 9:35pm job is a bona fide missing.
10:53pm - I'm going to go for the night. I'm getting up early tomorrow, so I need some rest. Good night, everyone, and I'll be back tomorrow.
