Good morning, everyone, it's 9:45am. It's quite cloudy out, and it's dark to the west. A storm is coming in, I think. Oh well. Today's going to be in the upper 80s and lower 90s, so it won't be as warm as it has been, but still warm. I would still use precautions being outside. Anyway, I monitored 14 this morning from 7:36am until 8am, as I said I was, but heard no calls. Lastly, I'm monitoring 25 today, and will be monitoring 17 tomorrow all day. Here's crime for today.
10:30am - Disturbance. 3801 W Belmont. Caller reports that all the day laborers are inside the Dunkin Donuts because of the rain, wants them removed. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call.
10:34am - Assault. 2924 N Pulaski, Platinum Fades, someone reports gangbangers charged into the barbershop with bats, now parked out front in white car. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call.
10:36am - An Officer reports he is picking up a suspect from the 10:34am job heading east on George. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call.
12:04pm - Wires down. Diversey and Lawndale. It's on fire.
12:27pm - Traffic accident. 4100 W Wellington.
1:01pm - Backlog in 25 at 13:01 hours.
1:37pm - Disturbance. 2979 N Ridgeway. Group of guys drinking in the vacant garage.
1:39pm - The 1:37pm job is coded.
1:54pm - Assault in progress. Karlov and Armitage. Group of girls trying to jump on the caller.
2:01pm - Backlog renewed at 14:01 hours.
2:58pm - Parker. 28XX N Ridgeway.
4:45pm - They're calling back on the 1:37pm job.
5:02pm - Child left alone. 4100 W Barry. Female Hispanic, 8, is walking by herself with no shirt on and gray pants.
5:04pm - Disturbance. 19XX N Harding. People in the backyard drinking, making noise and throwing bottles at people.
5:35pm - Beat 2582 is coding out an alarm at the church at 2516 N Kostner that may come on Dispatch's board. He's on scene with the pastor and there's something wrong with the alarm.
6:24pm - Battery in progress. Oakdale and Central Park. Two males fighting.
7:19pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back soon.
7:35pm - I'm back.
7:59pm - Gang disturbance. 29XX N Milwaukee. Group of them running after someone.
9:05pm - Person down. Wabansia and Hamlin.
9:41pm - Battery in progress. 3959 W Armitage. Fight in the liquor store.
10:47pm - 10-1. 100 block of N Pine. Beat 1506Adam is making an arrest and there's a big crowd getting real rowdy with CPD. They're getting threatening.
10:57pm - Person w/ a gun. Tripp and Altgeld. Male Black with a black shirt with a gun on the corner.
10:59pm - I'm not hearing anything else on the 10-1. I assume everything is ok. So with that, I'm back to only covering our area.
11:07pm - Person w/ a gun. 24XX N Tripp. Male Black, 5'8, 27 yrs old, dark complected, stocky build, black clothing just ran into the gangway, dumped a gun in the backyard and ran towards Kildare.
11:29pm - 1) Criminal damage. 28XX N Kostner. Car window broken out with a baseball bat. 2) Criminal damage in progress. Diversey and Hamlin. People in a small white Toyota are breaking out windows to another car. They're heading towards Avers on Diversey.

I again want to thank you for your service to the community and those of us who cannot afford to buy a machine to listen to transmissions. I dont like the gangs or the troublemakers. Please support the CPD and those who are doing good in the community like the webmaster of this site. He is a fine gentleman with a positive mindset. Thank you Sir!
Is the city ever gonna do anything about 2979 N.Ridgeway? Or does the neighborhood got to do the board up?
