Good morning, everyone, it's 12am. It's currently humid but clear outside. It's in the 60s. It's supposed to warm up into the 80s, and I believe it may storm. In fact, I think it's supposed to all week. Hopefully it won't while I attend some community events. Speaking of that, I'll lay out my schedule for this week. On Tuesday, I have a block club meeting that I helped organized up in the area of Belmont and Kedzie, and then Wednesday, I'll be attending a special meeting at a school on Central Avenue where the new "top cop", McCarthy, will be at. The purpose of this meeting is for all CAPS activists, community leaders, residents, etc. to discuss their successes and challenges they have with crime/disorder in their community. This meeting is open to all residents in the 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th and 25th Districts, the Area 5 Districts. So with that, here's crime for today.
12:02am - 1) Burglar report. 36XX W George. 2) Parker. 2800 block of N Ridgeway. Permits.
12:11am - Loud music disturbance. 2900 block of N Harding.
12:17am - Beat car 2522Robert has a traffic stop at Armitage and Pulaski.
12:23am - Battery in progress. Diversey and Kilbourn. Group of males fighting. They broke a glass door.
12:35am - 1) Disturbance. 25XX N Springfield. Group of eight to ten people in the street, making noise. 2) Loud music disturbance. 36XX W Diversey.
12:40am - Backlog in 25 at 00:40 hours.
1:04am - Some loud music disturbances on 2524's Beat.
1:15am - Music and partyin' for Beat car 2525R's PDT.
1:35am - Burglar alarm. 18XX N Lawndale.

12:09pm - Support unit request. 44XX W Deming.
2:08pm - Loud music disturbance. 24XX N Kildare.
2:14pm - Suspicious vehicle. 28XX N Avers. White Caddy left in the middle of the street.
2:15pm - Criminal damage. 21XX N Kedvale. Ex-girlfriend spray painted the car. She's gone.
2:16pm - Assault in progress. 25XX N Springfield. Former tenant just came to the building and is trying to fight the caller's dad, who's the landlord.
5:42pm - Some call at Belmont and Lawndale.
6:21pm - DUI driver. Hamlin and Belden. Two drunk men got into a car, stumbling, and went south on Hamlin towards Lyndale.
6:59pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back soon.
7:20pm - I'm back.
8:32pm - Some call at the St. Hyacinth's Convent, 3651 on George.
8:51pm - Disturbance. 22XX N Springfield. Large group congregating as a result of a fire hydrant.
9:02pm - DUI driver. Fullerton and Lawndale. Car with a plate of K757744 has a drunk driver in it.
10:48pm - Fire. Harding and Diversey. At the huge apartment building.
10:51pm - Beat car 2523Robert needs another car to help them do traffic control at the 10:48pm job.
11:07pm - Beat car 2525R is calling in the 8:51pm job. The hydrant's still open.
11:12pm - Person calling for help. 2979 N Ridgeway. Female inside the vacant building screaming for help.
