Good morning, everyone, it's 12am. It's currently pretty clear out, in the 60s. It's supposed to be cloudy today, with some thunderstorms possible later. Anyway, I should be here most of the day, with the exception of maybe around 3pm, because of a scheduled clean-up that's supposed to take place on Milwaukee. Also, tomorrow, from whenever I wake up in the morning until 2pm, I'm monitoring 14. I'll be monitoring 14 again after that on the 28th, from 2pm until midnight. So, with that, here's crime for today.
12:04am - A Tac unit has a street stop somewhere on Shakespeare.
12:06am - Assault in progress. Fullerton and Lawndale. Six males cussing and fighting in the alley.
12:16am - Parker. 3100 block of N Milwaukee.
12:44am - Disturbance. 39XX W Barry. Group loitering in front.
12:53am - This may be related to the 12:44am job, but there's also a call on that block for a female being held down by a group of females, and she's screaming.
1:09am - I'm gone for the night. I'll see you all in the morning. Have a good night.
10:38am - I'm back. Good morning.
10:55am - Disturbance. 2900 N Ridgeway. Eight drinkers in the alley.
12:02pm - Some call in the area, on the 2200 block of N Keystone, I believe.
1:27pm - Battery in progress. Hamlin and Palmer.
2:13pm - 1) Parker. 2300 block of N Kedvale. 2) EMS run. Somewhere on Pulaski.
2:26pm - Backlog in 25 at 14:26 hours.
3:02pm to 3:33pm - Took a walk around the neighborhood. I'll try to get an archive of this time period.
3:50pm - Traffic accident. Barry and Pulaski.
4:14pm - Loud music disturbance. On Pulaski.
4:27pm - 10-1. Madison and Parkside. Shots being fired at Beat car 1523. All available units are to go. 1523 was on a "Shots Fired" call there.
4:28pm - Sounds like either the offender or a copper got shot. Someone's running towards Washington on Parkside.
4:29pm - A slow down is being given on the 10-1. The offender is shot.
4:30pm - A gun's been recovered, at 52 on Parkside. That's where the offender is shot, also. Units in 25 are on scene as well.
4:31pm - EMS is on the way for the offender. He's in critical condition. 2513 has traffic blocked off at Waller and Washington.
4:32 through 5:00pm - Police/Dispatch chatter regarding the 10-1 incident.
5:27pm - Burglar alarm. 4036 W Armitage.
5:42pm - Disturbance. 1800 block of N Harding. Loud music and illegal car repairs.
6:06pm - Shots Fired. 1800 block of N Harding. Eight heard.
6:42pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back.
6:57pm - I'm back.
8:31pm - Vicious animal. 25XX N Monticello. Five dogs attacked the caller's dogs.
9:28pm - Loud music disturbance. 4100 block of W Fletcher.
9:47pm - Gang disturbance. Diversey and Ridgeway. There's a lot of gang activity in the area. They're on bikes, loitering in front of a house on the 2800 block of Ridgeway, walking the area and etc. It's not looking good.
10:02pm - Loud music disturbance. 3751 W Armitage.
10:12pm - Loud music disturbance. 2400 block of N Hamlin.
10:37pm - More music disturbances on 2524's Beat.
10:44pm - 1) Person down. Hamlin and Milwaukee. 2) Loud music disturbance. 4100 block of W Oakdale.
11:09pm - Disturbance. 1800 N Springfield. Kids on the tracks, throwing things down onto the homes.
11:43pm - 1) Burglar alarm. 36XX W Diversey. 2) Loud music disturbance. 24XX N Kostner.
11:45pm - 1) Disturbance. Lyndale and Lawndale. 2) Disturbance. 25XX N Springfield. 3) Disturbance. Armitage and Hamlin.
