Criminal Damage @ Wabansia And Hamlin

Good afternoon, everyone, it's 12:52pm. Boy, am I tired. Well, that's what I get for going to bed pretty late last night and then having to get up early. But I'll be all right. Anyway, I am now attending that block party on Ridgeway on Saturday. I'll be there all day, so I won't be blogging whatsoever. And it means I'll have to go to bed a little early tomorrow night, so I can be up early to go help the crew set up. That's all I have to say, so here's crime for this afternoon and evening.

1:05pm - Criminal damage. Wabansia and Hamlin. Three males are tagging the stop signs.

1:45pm - Burglary. 23XX N Harding.

1:46pm - More info on the 1:45pm job. Both offenders are male Blacks. One has on a white shirt and blue pants, the other has on blue shorts, carrying a purple backpack. They jumped over the gate and fled west towards Pulaski.

1:58pm - Suspicious person. Diversey and Kildare.

3:03pm - Criminal damage. 2350 N Pulaski. Someone threw rocks at the hair salon's window and broke it.

3:29pm - Police Heilcopter 2 is flying over the area, at Fullerton and Harding. They're looking for an '08 white and red Suszki that was involved in some sort of incident.

3:30pm - Beat 2561 is going over. PH 2 relates that the Suszki is a motorcycle. It was stolen on the 4th. It has an Illinois plate of BY2188.

3:31pm - PH 2 says that the officers need to make a right at the end of the alley. Also, the motorcycle has a sheet over it, and it's actually on Altgeld.

3:35pm - PH 2 has something else by the Aidi on Wrightwood. Not sure if it's another stolen vehicle/motorcycle, or what.

3:49pm - Suspicious vehicle. 27XX N Avers. White Jeep in the alley, lurking around. Caller is trying to take the kids somewhere and they're scared to go now because of this vehicle.

4:08pm - 2561 is doing a park check at Kevlyn. Event number is 12950.

4:14pm - Beat 2561David has a stop in the alley at 25XX N Springfield.

4:15pm - Beat car 2535 has a street stop at Springfield and North Ave.

5:30pm - Vicious animal. Kostner and Wrightwood. Caller's dog was bitten by another dog, who's owner let the dog do it.

5:41pm - Beat car 2523 is on at traffic stop at Wellington and Kenneth.

6:05pm - Beat car 2523 is doing some foot patrol on the 4100 block of W Oakdale.

6:28pm - Some unit has a traffic stop at Wrightwood and Springfield.

6:32pm - Beat car 1511 just had a red Chevy Impala take off from them at Mayfield and Walton. It's heading towards Iowa on Mayfield. It has a plate of L304740.

6:33pm - 1511 terminated at Chicago and Mayfield.

7:02pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back soon.

7:12pm - I'm back.

7:39pm - Gang disturbance. North and Pulaski. By the bank.

7:56pm - Criminal damage. 3700 W Wabansia. Group of males took down a sign.

7:57pm - Person wanted. Karlov and Armitage. Male Hispanic, short afro, black/gold shirt and black jeans is wanted for breaking into the caller's house.

8:08pm - Found child. Schubert and Springfield. 8 yr old girl with special needs has been found.

8:20pm - There's some chit chat about a unit having a stop by the Lucky 7 at Monticello and Armitage.

8:27pm - Parker. 27XX N Monticello.

8:34pm - Beat 2505 is on a stop somewhere in the neighborhood.

8:44pm - Beat 2566Boy asks for a Community Concern event number for the 2900 block of N Kenosha. Event number is 19123.

9:09pm - Loud music disturbance. 37XX W Cortland.

9:17pm - Beat car 2525 is doing foot patrol on the 2000 block of N Keystone.

9:48pm - Person w/ a gun. Armitage and Karlov.

9:55pm - 1) Parker. 28XX N Ridgeway. 2) Traffic accident. 26XX N Monticello. 3) Disturbance w/ a mental. 41XX W Palmer.

10:41pm - Gang disturbance. Altgeld and Kilbourn. Group loitering and flashing gang signs.

10:43pm - Beat 2566B needs a a couple of cars at the 10:41pm job. They've got some people stopped but there's a group heading north on Kilbourn towards Deming.

11:40pm - Disturbance. 2739 N Pulaski. At the currency. Customer in a car refuses to leave the lot.

12:00am - I'm gone for the night. I'll see you all tomorrow. Good night, everyone.
