Traffic Accident @ Central Park And North Ave.

Good morning, everyone, it's 5am. It's a cloudy morning we have here, and we're supposed to get bad storms later this afternoon. Hopefully everything will be ok. And hopefully, the weather holds up for me to attend my CAPS Beat meeting, 2523, this evening. I'd like to attend to hear about the new problems and to notify CPD of new problems I have in the area. Other than this CAPS Beat meeting, I don't really have any other community meetings or events to attend for the next two or three weeks. And at school, I'm only staying after school maybe two more times before we're out. So it seems I have a pretty long break from things coming up, which I don't have a problem with. I could use the break. So with that, here's crime for this morning before I leave for school.

6:05am - Traffic accident. Central Park and North Ave. No injures.

6:39am - I have to go. Have a great day, everyone. See you all tomorrow.

Lots of unmarked Tact units and marked squads in the area of Ridgeway & George as well as Ridgeway and Oakdale around 6:45 pm this evening.......any idea what was going on or if there was possibly a shooting earlier?

I e-mailed my friend ProdigalOne and asked her to look into it. I haven't heard back, but I will let you know when I do.

To those inquiring about the CPD activity at George and Ridgeway yesterday, it was a criminal trespass call at 2979, with several people living in the vacant building.

2979 Ridgeway is a mess! That house has been vacant since the family was arrested for selling drugs after a search warrant was conducted by CPD at that location. Since then, the garage has been taken over by the drunks and drug addicts and now apparently they have actually taken up residence inside. It is an eyesore and just unsafe for the neighbors since apprently yesterday they made quite the bonfire out back! Thanks Timmy for the info and for keeping an eye out as well as keeping us all informed!
