Good morning, everyone, it's 8am. I'm monitoring 14 today for those of you who live in that District. It should be interesting as usual. Anyway, it's currently in the upper 50s and cloudy. It isn't going to really get any warmer today either, and it's supposed to rain, so it'll be a cooler and rainy early May day. It beats it being cold and snowy for this time of year. Also, today, there's supposed to be a clean-up on Ridgeway from Milwaukee to Diversey starting at 12:30pm followed by a cook-out. The cook-out will likely have to be canceled because it's supposed to rain starting around 3pm, and we may not be able to complete the clean-up. We'll see. Hopefully the weather holds up today. Ok, enough of me chattering, here's crime for today.
8:16am - Beat car 1431 is doing a premise check at the California Blue Line station. Event number is 05521.
8:33am - DOA. 2640 N California. CFD just found a dead body in a garbage can in the rear of the building.
8:44am - The 8:33am job isn't bona fide. 19Boy.
8:47am - Beat 1499 is doing foot patrol on Armitage from Western to Central Park. Event number is 05498.
8:54am - Disturbance. 2020 N California. At the 7-11. Argument in the store.
9:22am - Disturbance. 2353 W Armitage. Male White, 50s, baseball cap and black trim coat is drinking in front.
9:24am - Traffic accident. Fullerton and Kedzie.
9:27am - Beat car 1434, who responded to the 9:22am job, says there's an accident right across the street at 2354. She's also handling that.
9:30am - CFD run. 3047 W Armitage.
9:57am - Parker. 2600 block of N Mozart. Permits.
10:10am - Burglar alarm. 1635 N Wood.
10:15am - Criminal trespass call at 1947 N somewhere.
10:34am - Burglar alarm. 2624 W Homer.
10:37am - Some call at 2335 N Lister.
11:02am - Battery. 2843 W Wabansia. A gang fight broke out but now it's over. The males involved were last seen headed west on North Ave. from the scene. They snatched someone out of a white van and fled in a burgundy vehicle.
11:03am - Traffic accident. Drake and Shakespeare.
11:04am - 1434 is doing a premise check at the Western Blue Line station.
11:20am - Traffic accident. North and Magnolia. Bike VS van.
11:48am - Disturbance. 1438 W Cortland. Problem with a bike being towed. WTF??
1:03pm - Battery in progress. 1746 N Western. Two females fighting in the parking lot of Dunkin Donuts.
1:04pm - Wanted from the 1:03pm job is a female who fled in a gray car with a plate of H936934.
1:06pm - The 1:03pm offender is supposed to be in the parking lot of a nearby Mobile gas station.
1:08pm - Reckless driver. Belmont and Kimball. White tow truck with a partial plate of 113 drove right through a red light. It's heading towards Bernard on Belmont.
1:30pm - The 9:30am job is now a panic alarm.
1:31pm - Assault in progress. 2001 N Milwaukee. Male threatening the manager in Walgreens and it looks like they're going to fight.
1:32pm - They're calling back on the 10:34am job.
1:34pm - A disregard is being given on the 9:30am/1:30pm jobs.
1:48pm - Theft. 2778 N Milwaukee. Male Hispanic, white hat, black jacket stole stuff from the GAP store and fled towards Sawyer on Milwaukee.
2:36pm - Suspicious vehicle. 3126 N Sawyer.
2:41pm - Some call at 3016 W Medill.
2:42pm - 1) Narcotics. 26X5 W Armitage. Two people in a car in the back of the building may be doing drugs. 2) Traffic accident. Kimball and Wabansia. Hit and run.
2:55pm - Beat 1402 needs an RD number from a traffic accident at 3555 W Armitage. The RD is HT284407 with the event number of 10882.
3:14pm - Disturbance. 2707 N Elston. Male White with a red Bulls' cap and white jacket is panhandling in the parking lot.
3:38pm - EMS run. Dickens and St. Louis. Male down on the ground.
4:15pm to 5:30pm - Fell asleep. Sorry. I'll listen to this time period next Saturday.
5:33pm - Beat 1453 is doing a robbery mission on Milwaukee from Bloomingdale to California. Event number is 13386.
5:35pm - Wanted from an accident that occurred at 2824 N California at about 5:20pm was a male Hispanic teenager with piercings on his face, wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
5:39pm - Beat 1451 is on a gang suppression mission their whole time working tonight. Event number is 13659.
5:56pm - Theft. 2513 N Artesian. Cable box stolen from the caller by a "co-tenant".
5:59pm - Traffic accident. Cortland and Ashland.
6:08pm - Beat 1405 is doing park checks at Unity and Skate. Event number for Unity is 14118 and Skate's is 14120.

7:35pm - Disturbance. Belmont and Kimball. Male Black in a brown coat is jumping in front of cars, blocking up traffic.
7:43pm - Assault in progress. Oakely and Dickens. Two neighbors arguing over a dog fight.
7:48pm - Burglar alarm. 1735 N Hermitage.
7:55pm - CFD run. 2801 W Diversey.
8:04pm - Alarm. 2845 W Barry. At the church/school.
8:12pm - 1) Disturbance. 1955 N Leavitt. Male in front harassing people as they exit the building. 2) Burglar alarm. 1837 N Beasley.
9:07pm - 1) A unit asks for an event number for a mission from Spaulding to Drake, Wabansia to Belden. It's 17327. 2) Suspicious person. 2422 W North Ave. Two to four male teens, two in black hoodies, about 17 yrs old, in the rear. Caller is concerned because there has been numerous break-ins in the area as of late.
9:19pm - Loud music disturbance. 2323 N Albany.
10:02pm - EMS run. 2821 N Milwaukee. In front of Crown Liquors, a male is down.
10:49pm - Speed chase. Speed chase. Washington and Western. Beat 1365Adam is chasing a car that has people in it who have a large gun on them. Heading west towards Campbell.
10:50pm - Approaching Sacramento on Washington.
10:51pm - Alright, the car crashed. Kedzie and Washington. EMS en route. Offender is injured.
10:56pm - Robbery. Paulina and Wabansia.
11:05 to 11:20pm - Wasn't paying too much attention, but I'm sure there were some calls in the area. There was a call at 3552 W McLean.
11:32pm - Loud music disturbance. Barry and Elbridge.
11:36pm - A unit just had a car fly down Milwaukee at Armitage at about 60 mph. It's heading towards North Avenue on the Mil.
11:39pm - Parker. 2169 N Milwaukee. By the martini club.
11:46pm - Check the well being. 3567 W McLean. Caller's mother called them to say she's having trouble with the boyfriend and that there's "a lot" happening on the block.
11:47pm - Check the well being. 1821 N Mozart.
11:52pm - 1) Disturbance. Albany and Belmont. Three to four males loitering. 2) Reckless driver. Belmont and Kimball. Drag racers heading down Belmont towards Bernard.
11:53pm - Person w/ a gun. Western and Lyndale. Male Hispanic, pirate baseball cap and glasses, pulled a gun out on the caller.
11:54pm - Battery in progress. 3560 W McLean. Males fighting on the corner.
11:55pm - A slow down is being given on the 11:53pm job. Someone's saying that the offender has on a white shirt and that he fled towards Belden on Western.
11:57pm - The 11:54pm job is now coming in as 20 people arguing.
