- There was a call of "Shots Fired" at Hamlin and Palmer. Blue car involved. This took place shortly before 9:45pm.
- A large gang fight, with gunshots, happened on the 2300 block of N. Ridgeway at about 9:30pm. Multiple 911 calls came in for 10 to 12 males fighting in the street with bats, along with females fighting, and gunshots. One man reportedly had a rifle. So the police went on over, frisked the subjects, did some other police work, and pulled an RD number. I'm not sure if there was any arrests or not.

Sunday Night Violence In The Community
Good evening, everyone. There was some violence last night in the community I think that is worth mentioning, and since I slept tonight, forgetting to monitor 14 (which I'll do on Friday now instead), I figured I'd make a post. Anyway, here is just a couple of incidents that took place in the neighborhood.

Did you hear anything about shots on about 1820 N Mozart? Cops came, but not sure what they found. Thanks.
We need a full ban on handguns in this country. The rest of the world seems to do fine without them. Or is it that this country is just the land of rejects?

I just read Sneeds article in the SunTimes. Apparently the cops accused of rape had been at it many times before. What can we do when we can't even count on the police to help us?
Hide your women from the police. Sounds like the days of the police in Russia...
