Good morning, everyone, it's 11:32am. I'm monitoring 25 today and through the weekend. Tonight is day #2 of the St. Hyacinth's Carnival, and due to some activity last night that I personally observed, I will be keeping a closer eye on it. I believe it goes from 6 to 11 this evening. With that, here's crime for today.
11:34am - Beat 2582Foot is doing foot patrol on Milwaukee from Belmont to Central Park.
12:09pm - Criminal trespass. 19XX N Lawndale. Someone went into the neighbor's home, who is out of town.
12:54pm - Gang disturbance. 20XX N Karlov. Gangbangers arguing in the middle of the street and smoking marijuana.
1:34pm - Beat 2506Henry is checking out 3945 W Diversey. He's the troubled building unit.
2:15pm - Child left alone. 30XX N Pulaski Rd. Four year old boy.
2:16pm - Parker in the 20 sector on Beat 2552's PDT.
3:10pm - Loud music disturbance. 18XX N Harding. Guitar playing.
4:13pm - Battery. 31XX N Harding. Caller was hit with a cigarette by a man on the porch.
4:28pm - Traffic accident. Belmont and Hamlin.
4:41pm - Loud music disturbance. 18XX N Harding.
4:45pm - Beat 2500, 25th District Commander, needs a transport unit at 3950 W Belmont. Beat car 2523 is coming over.
6:05pm - Vice complaint. Kelvyn Park. Group of people drinking by the tennis court.
6:32pm - Disturbance. 22XX N Keystone.
6:38pm - Traffic accident. Pulaski and Fullerton. Two cars.
7:01pm - Beat 2561Eddie needs a cage car for a transport from a stop at Diversey and Springfield. Beat car 2522 is coming over.
7:08pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back soon.
7:22pm - I'm back. Good evening, everyone.
7:47pm - Child left alone. 3607 W Fullerton. At the Tony's. Seven year old kid with a yellow shirt was left alone.
8:16pm - 1) Disturbance. 3920 W Diversey. Intoxicated male harassing people by the liquor store. 2) Disturbance. 25XX N Monticello. Problem with a bustdown. LOL. 3) Burglar alarm. 2121 N Keeler. At the Nixon school.
8:17pm - Beat 2520 is doing a premise check at the St. Hyacinth's Carnival. Event number is 15412.
8:21pm - Battery in progress. 40XX W Wellington. People fighting in the backyard, there's a smell of marijuana.
8:30pm - Disturbance. 29XX N Karlov. Intoxicated male who doesn't live at this location is trying to come in.
8:54pm - Beat car 2523 is taking someone into 25 from the 8:30pm job.
8:56pm - Traffic accident. Diversey and Kildare. Car VS motorcycle, drivable, but someone doesn't have insurance.
9:14pm - Battery. 44XX W Altgeld. Caller got into a fight with the neighbor.
9:36pm - Beat car 2524 is pulling an RD number from the 9:14pm job. It's HW410885 with the event number of 16195.
10:04pm - Sex offense. 42XX W Nelson. Two people having sex in a red car in front.
10:24pm - Gang disturbance. Lawndale and Diversey. Group of them harassing people leaving the carnival.
10:31pm - Suspicious person. Dickens and Keeler. Four male Hispanic teens in black shirts walking towards Armitage on Keeler, looking into the homes.
10:53pm - Shots Fired. 20XX N Avers. A few gunshots were heard in the alley.
10:58pm - Beat 6733 is giving a disregard on the 10:53pm job. They were in the area and didn't hear anything.
11:02pm - DUI dirver. 30XX N Kostner. Male in a car with a plate of R112217 has been driving around the block, drunk, and is now parked in front with a bottle of liquor in his hand.
11:21pm - Battery in progress. Armitage and Central Park. Group of four males fighting by the playground.
11:32pm - Just FYI to everyone, but there's been a major shooting on the 1800 block of N. Pulaski Rd., on the west side of the street (thus making it 2534's Beat). Up to four people have been shot, one critical. Several units on scene and numerous 911 calls.
11:42pm - CTA buses on Pulaski are going to have to be rerouted between Armitage and North Ave., as units are blocking off traffic and what not.
11:53pm - Check the well being. Davlin and Milwaukee Ave. Male White in his 60s stumbling down Davlin towards Barry, caller wants to make sure he's okay I guess.
