Good morning, everyone, it's 5:49am. It's a clear early morning out there with temps in the upper 20s, and today will be sunny with temps getting kind of warm, into the mid 40s. I'm monitoring 25 today from now until my dinner, then I'll be covering 25 tomorrow from after my dinner until a little after midnight. We'll see how this all goes. Here's crime for today.

8:24am - Beat car 2525 is doing a follow-up at 25XX N Avers.
8:57am - Check the well being. Altgeld and Harding. Woman crying and asking for help.
9:46am - Robbery. 36XX W Dickens. Caller was robbed in front.
9:58am - Disturbance. 3181 N Milwaukee Ave. At the Shell gas station.
10:08am - Criminal damage report. 36XX W Wrightwood. At the laundromat. Window was broken out.
11:10am - Beat 2563Boy has a street stop at Avers and Diversey. Running two names.
11:17am - Disturbance. 3706 W Armitage. Problem with a customer.
11:42am - Criminal trespass. 19XX N Lawndale.
11:59am - Beat 2582 is doing foot patrol on Milwaukee from Belmont to Central Park. Event number is 06304.
12:36pm - Parker. On 2523's Beat.
1:03pm - Traffic accident. 39XX W Cortland.
1:29pm - Fire. 24XX N Tripp. Stove.
1:32pm - Beat car 2522 is on the scene of the 1:29pm job, it's indeed a overheated stove.
1:41pm - Beat 2582 is doing foot patrol on Fullerton from Kilbourn to Pulaski this afternoon. Event number is 08020.
2:03pm - EMS run. 43XX W Parker. Wife's mom passed out.
2:12pm - Beat 2542, the assigned car to the 2:03pm job, needs to go to OLR to locate the person.
2:19pm - Beat 2583 is doing patrol on the 4400 block of W Diversey this afternoon. Event number is 08593.
2:41pm - Criminal trespass. 3937 W Diversey. At the large building. Five males who don't live there just came into the laundry room.
4:13pm - Beat 2505 is doing a park check at Kelvyn.
4:31pm - Disturbance. On 2523's Beat.
4:37pm - Robbery. Fullerton and Hamlin. Two males pointed a gun to the caller's head and took his money.
4:45pm - Beat 2590 has the 4:37pm victim down the street from the robbery.
4:50pm - Dispatch puts something on 2524's PDT.
5:07pm - Beat car 2522 is giving a flash from the 4:37pm job. Wanted are
6:35pm - Shots Fired. Avers and Diversey. 15 males shooting off guns in the southeast alley.
6:36pm - Just FYI for everyone, and this is related to the 6:35pm job, but I've been hearing loud reports for the last two hours. They sound more like M80s then anything, though.
6:38pm - Beat car 2523 is giving a slow down at the 6:35pm call. They don't see or anything yet.
6:40pm - 2505 is doing a park check at Koz.
6:41pm - Criminal damage. 17XX N Lawndale. Male took a boot and a tire off of a car, then moved it into the alley.
6:42pm - 2505 just talked to some kids playing soccer in the park and they said they heard the noises in the area, but they're not sure if they're gunshots or not.
6:45pm - Disturbance. 3086 N Milwaukee Ave. Large party going on in the alley, they're making a mess.
6:49pm - Arson in progress. 2800 block of N Avers. Gangbangers trying to set a car on fire.
6:50pm - I'm going to go eat, and with that, I'm finally gone for the night. I'm long overdue for a break, LOL. I'll see you guys tomorrow. Good night, everyone!

Woken up by gunfire this morning around 3:30 am.(Sunday) Not sure exactly where it came from but it may have been Milwaukee/Central Pk. or Oakdale/Rideway or Monticello/Milwaukee
Anyone else hear it this morning?
