Good morning, everyone, it's 7:54am. It's a mostly cloudy morning with temps in the lower 30s, and today will be rainy with temps in the lower 40s. I'm monitoring 17 today for all of you good residents who reside North of Belmont, and this is my first time monitoring 17 in 2013. We'll see how it goes. Tonight, I have a community meeting I have to attend on Division, but I'll have my microphone headset plugged up to get the calls while I'm away. Then, tomorrow, I'm monitoring 14 from 7:30am to 8:57 and 25 from 2pm to midnight. With that, here's crime for today.
8:15am - Beat 1795 has a traffic stop at 3800 W Eddy.
8:16am - Just an FYI to everyone out there, but there's a call of child abuse at Schurz High School, 3601 N Milwaukee Ave. A 17 year old student was abused by the school nurse. I know this isn't necessary in our coverage area, but Schurz is the high school that serves all of Avondale, unless students chose to go to another school.
8:41am - 1795 has another traffic stop on the 3800 Eddy block. Popular block, huh?
9:40am - CTA bus alarm. Belmont and Kedzie. Silent bus alarm sounding on CTA bus #1088, headed west towards Spaulding.
9:43am - Beat car 1733 is at Belmont/Kedzie, doesn't see the bus. A slow down is being given.
9:49am - 1733 says she went as far west as Cicero and didn't see that bus. 19P is the code.
11:30am - Burglar alarm. 31XX W Addison. Caller lives on Eddy, but the burglar alarm can be heard behind their address, thus making it be on Addison.
1:19pm - Beat 1774 is heading over to Reilly Branch. He just got a call that they're having a problem with a student there.
2:44pm - 1774 is coding out the 1:19pm thing, and is now at Schurz for dismissal.
2:58pm - Beat 6734 has an on-view traffic accident at Albany and Addison. There's no injuries but it's non-drivable.
3:40pm to 4:10pm - I didn't pay attention. I'm sorry. I'll monitor this time period on Monday.
4:33pm - Narcotics. Melrose and Drake. Five male Blacks selling by the alley.
5:44pm - Information for the CPD. On 1733's Beat.
6:29pm - Traffic accident. Kimball and The Kennedy Expressway. Two cars, no injuries.
6:38pm - I have to go to this community meeting, and unfortunately, my microphone equipment is NOT working this evening, so I will have to monitor the time period I'm gone tonight on both Monday and Tuesday. I have to split it up on Monday. I'm sorry guys. I'll be back around 9:30pm or so. See you all then.

10:19pm - FYI to everyone: I just heard about the Kelvyn Park High School situation that occurred this morning, and will work on retrieving the 911 tapes tomorrow.
10:20pm - Parker. 3900 block of W Eddy.
10:28pm - Disturbance. 3500 N California. At the bus terminal. On CTA bus #1177, there's a drunk who refuses to get off the bus at the end of the line.
10:55pm - Beat car 1733Robert is doing a CTA check from the 3500 California terminal. Event number is 16170.
