Good morning, everyone, it's 9:57am. It's a sunny morning with temps in the lower 30s, and today will get cloudy with temps in the mid 30s. I apologize that I didn't post yesterday, but I was exhausted from my first day of second semester of college and then had a meeting to go to in the evening. I did monitor, actually, for about 40 minutes or so around 3pm, but only heard about a traffic accident on Fullerton. Well, today, I'm monitoring 25 from now until 3pm. Tomorrow, I intend on monitoring 25 in the morning from 6:45am to 8am, then again after 3pm. My 7:30am Spanish class was canceled for tomorrow, so I don't have to be at school until 9. I'm loving my second semester, too. I have a good schedule, I like three of my professors (I haven't met my fourth professor yet, since that class only meets on Fridays), and I've got a couple of people to talk to for now. This semester seems like it's going to be hard, but a good one, and I'm ready for it. With that, here's crime for this morning and afternoon.
10:00am - Suspicious person. 23XX N Kedvale. Male lurking around the backyard.
10:38am - Beat 2542 has a traffic stop at Altgeld and Hamlin.
10:55am - Reckless driver. 2700 block of N Karlov.
1:29pm - Beat 2563David has a street stop at Karlov and Armitage.
1:32pm - Disturbance. 29XX N Ridgeway. Four males drinking nearby.
1:47pm - Beat 2582 is doing foot patrol on Fullerton from Cicero to Pulaski. Event number is 08312.
1:59pm - Disturbance. 2978 N Milwaukee Ave. Drunk man loitering in front of the sausage shop, harassing people.
2:01pm - Traffic pursuit. Traffic pursuit. Crystal and Long. Beat 41Nora30Eddie is goin after a car that refuses to stop for them and did take off from them, not sure what they're wanted for right now.
2:02pm - West on Kamerling from Pine.
2:03pm - Two male Blacks just bailed from the car. 1300 block of N Central. One officer is chasing them through a yard.
2:04pm - One of the offenders has on all black and another has on a green hoodie. They lost the offenders at Central and Division. With that, back to the neighborhood...
2:54pm - Beat 2576Sam is headed over to Kelvyn Park High School. He just got word that Latin Eagles are driving around in a car looking to start a fight. Beat 2577S is also going.
2:55pm - Beat 2500, 25th District Commander, wants a Tac team to go over to KPHS.
3:23pm - Beat car 2535 has a street stop at North and Avers.
3:37pm - I'm going to go for the day. I'll be back in the morning. Have a good evening, everyone, and see you all tomorrow!
