Good morning, everyone, it's 6:12am. It's a cloudy early morning with temps in the mid 20s, and today's supposed to be partly cloudy with temps in the mid 40s. I'm monitoring 14 from now until 7:27am, then I have to go to my Physical Science class at school, which meets from 9am to noon. I should be home around 1pm, and then when I come back, I'll monitor 25 in the afternoon. Here's crime for portions of today.
6:34am - Beat 1484 is doing foot patrol on Milwaukee from Central Park to Kedzie, and is also doing a station check at the Logan Square Blue Line. Foot patrol's event number is 02298 and Logan Square is 02301.
7:02am - Assault in progress. 35XX W Lyndale. Former employee just chased the caller down the street.
7:07am - Suspicious vehicle. Logan and Richmond. Two or more vans sitting in front appear to be there to do some work, but caller isn't sure.
7:14am - Burglar alarm. 23XX N Lister.
7:21am - They're calling for a supervisor on Lyndale.
7:27am - I have to go until later. I'll see you all this afternoon. Have a great start to your day, everyone!
1:09pm - I'm back with 25. Good afternoon, everyone.
1:28pm - Person w/ a knife. 2200 N Hamlin. At the Mozart school. 12 year old brought a knife to school.
2:08pm - An RD number is being pulled from Mozart. It's HW122196 with the event number of 086XX.
2:35pm - Might have had a job to have been given out, but I'm not sure.
3:04pm - Beat 2578Sam is at Kelvyn Park High School for dismissal.
3:23pm - Disturbance. 3651 W Schubert. At the Monroe school. Two parents arguing.
3:36pm - I'm going to go until 5:46pm. I'll be back then. Hope everyone has a safe rush-hour trip back home!

5:47pm - EMS run. Koz Park. Drunk man.
6:52pm - Gang disturbance. Harding and Wabansia. Five on the corner, representing.
6:55pm - Person w/ a gun. Harding/Wabansia. Seven males walking up and down Wabansia from Springfield to Harding, one has a gun in his waistband. It's a group of gangbangers.

It's going to get below zero next week! Lets get the word out that our homeless are welcome to use our many police stations for shelter.
