Good afternoon, everyone, it's 1:33pm. It's a cloudy afternoon with temps in the mid 20s, and falling. Today will remain cloudy and cold. I'm monitoring 25 from now until 5:17pm, then I'll be back with 17 from 6:38 to 9:47. I'm not going to blog tomorrow, as I'm going to spend my day relaxing and getting ready to go to class on Tuesday. I can hardly wait to head back to school :). Well, with that, here's crime for this afternoon and evening.
3:57pm - Disturbance. 3025 N Milwaukee Ave. Homeless male causing a problem.
About 4:30pm - Some call in the area.
5:17pm - I'm going to go until 6:38. I'll be back then. See you guys in a little bit.
6:38pm - I'm back with 17. Good evening, everyone.
8:05pm - Suspicious person. 33XX N Albany. Two males lurking around the back of the building.
9:10pm - Assault. 37XX W Eddy. Two gangbangers threatened the caller.
9:19pm - Reckless driver. Belmont and Kimball.
9:47pm - I'm going to go until Tuesday. I'll see you all then. Good night, everyone, and have a great day tomorrow!

Tim, are you or any of your family members going to get one of those concealed carry permits? We need them to protect ourselves from the gangbangers. I already paid my deposit to the alderman for mine.
No, Jim, we're not. My family doesn't believe in using guns, and while I do want to have one to protect myself, I have to respect them, and honestly, it doesn't really feel right wanting a gun for some reason.
