Why butt in on private parties? The cops are just such busy bodies.

Ceasefire just got a young man to turn himself in for shooting 2 girls. Ceasefire is a wonderful organization that makes a huge difference. Much more impact than the "positive loitering" and CAPS meetings. The city was much safer when Jody Weiss was running CPD.

Anonymous 8:29, it's not the cops. It's the citizens calling in this stuff.

Anthony, I disagree to a point. Ceasefire does have impact, but so does CAPS and Positive Loitering, if you do it right. And no, the city was just as bad when he was here. Plus, CPD was far less motivated to do anything when he was here. McCarthy's done a good job so far since he took over.

Anonymous 9:53, thanks, I guess.
