Barricade Situation On Mozart Ends In Peace

Good evening, everyone. Sorry for no crime post tonight (I'll explain why tomorrow). Anyway, according to Chicago Breaking News, there was a barricade situation in the 2800 block of N Mozart earlier this evening, which ended in peace (which I'm glad it did because one of my classmates lives on that block). Police were called to the block at about 7:30 for a "check the well being" call. Someone called, concerned about a male. When police came, the guy didn't come out and he didn't let them in, so they called for assistance. The SWAT team and a negotiator's team arrived on scene. About an hour and a half ago, the man surrended peacefully to CPD. He was taken to a hospital.

Whew. I'm glad that ended peacefully. Didn't need any injuries or any deaths from this. Well, do any of you have questions/comments? Leave them here.
