Toddler is left alone in van on Fullerton

Good afternoon, everyone, it's 4:13pm. School was good. Anyway, today is the first day of May, which means more sunshine and warmer temperatures. May also means that the regular school year is almost over, Mother's Day is coming up and Memorial Day, though on a bit of a negative side, it means more violence. I will continue to inform everyone of violence in the two neighborhoods and what can be done about it. So, here is crime for the remainder of today.

4:00pm - Child left alone. Fullerton and Avers. 18 month old left inside of a badge van.

4:01pm - Suspicious vehicle. 1844 N Monticello. No further information.

4:25pm - Assault. 4427 W Montana. Threatened by the neighbor.

4:42pm - Beat car 2525 gets a disturbance on the PDT.

4:52pm - Suspicious vehicle. 2845 N Ridgeway. Green car parked in the middle of the street.

5:06pm - Hit and run. Wrightwood and Pulaski. Caller was hit by car. Fire en route.

5:08pm - Robbery. 3627 W Dickens. Male Hispanic, 6 feet tall in a green van just robbed the caller at a gas station.

5:13pm - 1) Beat 2524 is asking for a call back on the 5:06pm job. 2) A better location for the 5:06pm job is 2624 N Pulaski.

5:14pm - Beat car 2525 is asking for a call back on the 5:08pm job because it's a multi unit building.

5:35pm - Traffic accident. 3700 W Fullerton. No further information.

5:47pm - Beat 2524 gets a disturbance on the PDT.

6:04pm - 1) Beat car 2523 is on a traffic stop at Fullerton and Konster. 2) Criminal damage. Diversey and Pulaski. Gangbangers in green/black shirts broke out the anonymous caller's window. They're heading east on Diversey, towards the park.

7:55pm - EMS run. 3021 N Milwaukee. No further information.

8:03pm - Assault in progress. 3638 W North. Apartment 3. Woman threatening to beat someone in the head on an open line.

8:07pm - 1) Battery. Diversey and Harding. 40 yr old was beaten up. Fire en route. 2) Parker. Somewhere on 2523's beat. No further information.

8:08pm - Beat 2535 asks for a call back on the 8:03pm job. There is no call back, so they're told to handle accordingly.

8:27pm - 1) Disturbance. Diversey and Monticello. Loud music coming from the area. 2) Narcotics. Fullerton and Central Park. No further information.

8:30pm - Beat car 2523 is heading to it sounds like OLR with Ambulance 5 from the Battery job.

8:37pm - 1) Disturbance. 3747 W McLean. Problem with the neighbor. 2) Parker. On 2525's beat. No further information.

8:48pm - There was a job for the area but I didn't get the details. Sorry.

8:50pm - Again, there was a job, but I didn't get details.

8:52pm - Burglar report. 2237 N Hamlin. No further information.

8:54pm - An RD number has been pulled from the Battery job. It's HR2981XX with the event number of 16836.

9:14pm - Gang disturbance. 3648 W Cortland. 10 of them loitering.

9:22pm - Child left alone. Fullerton and Monticello. A 2 yr old child has been left alone in a blue 4 door car with plates of A787462. It's in the parking lot.

9:56pm - Loud music disturbance. 4304 W Wrightwood. From the basement.

9:57pm - 1) Vice complaint. Avers and George. Males drinking or smoking. 2) Parker. 1646 N Lawndale. Permits.

10:00pm - A supervisor is being requested at the 8:52pm job because of the response time.

10:21pm - Beat 2502, which is the desk in 25, tells Beat car 2548 to head over to Lawndale and Wolfram. There's a huge party from what I can see.

10:39pm - Beat 2542 got a hand waver at Lawndale and Wolfram. They're taking one in from this party. Anybody want to bet that my immediate neighbors or I will have to call the cops about this tonight?

10:43pm - Auto Theft. 3184 N Milwaukee. Someone stole the caller's white '98 Ford Explorer from the Cafe Laura's private parking lot. Caller was only in there for about 10 minutes.

10:49pm - Battery in progress. 3910 W George. Two males fighting in the hallway.

10:50pm - Beat car 2562Adam wants Beat 2524 to meet with them at Central Park and Wolfram.

11:00pm - Beat car 2550 wants Beats 2548 and 2554 to meet him for a detail over at Wolfram and Lawndale.

11:39pm - 1) Disturbance. 2802 N Lawndale. People drinking. Probably the ones from the party. 2) Disturbance. 3809 W Diversey. Intoxicated male sleeping on the porch.

11:58pm - Person with a gun. Diversey and Hamlin. Two male offenders had guns. They went south and the complaint fled the other way.

12:06am - The 11:58pm job is coded 19Paul and with that, I'm out of here. I'll be back after my dinner on Saturday.
