Neighbors loud on Harding

Good morning, everyone, it's 12:03am. Anyway, last night was a crazy night, because of the shooting at Hamlin and Lyndale. I'm going to be mointoring that area when I blog for today. So, here is crime for today.

12:00am - Disturbance. 2421 N Harding. Neighbors being loud.

12:01am - Beat car 6759George needs a cage car at 2404 N Lawndale. Beat 2523 is going. Also, I'm heading to sleep, so good night, everyone.

8:51am - I'm back and there's a person with a gun call. Male White with a white t-shirt and blue jeans is intoxicated and he threatened the complaint with a gun. Location is 2822 N Springfield.

8:55am - A slow down is being given at the 8:51am job. Beat car 2521 says there's no gun and it's nonsense.

9:01am - The 30th Ward bike marathon is going to start soon. Starting location is Belmont and Mango. From Mango, they'll head east on Wrightwood to Konster, then south on Konster to Cortland, then east on Cortland to Avers, then they'll finally head north on Avers to Koz Park, where it'll end at.

9:33am - Residental alarm. 2841 N Pulaski. Apartment 3N.

9:34am - Beat 2523 is detailed to the church at Lawndale and Wolfram for some reason. This is per Beat car 2599.

9:36am - Parker. 3117 N Lawndale. Light brown pick-up truck.

9:54am - EMERGENCY on Zone 12. Foot chase at Iowa and Long. Male Black, 6 feet tall, twisted hair and white t-shirt running.

9:55am - Beat car 45Sam15Queen has the guy in custody.

9:56am - The offender is in custody on Rice. A slow down and disregard are being given.

10:04am - Beat 2524 asks for a Burglary SOB mission on the beat.

10:06am - The 9:33am job is coded 4Paul and the 9:36am job is coded 6Paul.

10:16am - Barking dog. 2320 N Monticello. Dog stuck on roof and is barking.

10:31am - Suspicious vehicle. 3737 W Wrightwood. Badge Ford.

10:45am - Beat car 2525 says the 10:16am owner is on the way, but the dog is on a balcony.

10:47am - Beat 2524 codes the 10:31am job as 11Paul and is doing a park check at Koz.

10:48am - Beat car 2507Adam and the bike marathoners are arriving at Koz Park.

10:49am - 1) The 10:16am job is coded 19Paul. 2) Missing person. 2340 N Hamlin. 14 yr old.

10:51am - Traffic accident. 2111 N Kedvale. EMS en route for injures.

11:05am - The 10:51am job is coded 18Paul because it's actually on Kildare.

11:16am - Person with a knife. 1724 N Central Park. Male Hispanic, 5'2, bandanna and grey sweatsuit.

11:18am - There are some jobs pending on the board in 25 and they're short on cars. Beat 2544 is taking anything dispatch has in the 20 sector.

11:20am - 1) The missing from the 10:49am job is a female Black or Hispanic [I couldn't hear which one] who's about 5'1. She's 14 yrs old. Date of birth is 7-May-94. She's been missing since 11:55 hours yesterday. She frequents Humboldt Park. 2) A slow down is given on the 11:16am job. 3) Beat car 2562Adam says that about 5-10 minutes ago, from the 11:16am job, the offender attempted to break into the complaint's garage. He's got on a green camoflauge badanna.

11:22am - The 11:16am job is a regular in the area. He's also got tear drops under his eyes.

1:19pm - Gang disturbance. 3181 N Milwaukee. At the gas station. They're hanging out.

2:10pm - Parker. 2000 N Kedvale. No further information.

2:25pm - A backlog has been put into 25. 14:25 hours.

2:28pm - Gang disturbance. 1848 N Harding. Ten of them, loitering.

2:40pm - Beat 2525 asks for a Burglary SOB mission event number. It's 10986.

3:32pm - Assault in progress. 3110 N Lawndale. The neighbors are threatening the complaint after they put their rug on the neighbor's lawn.

4:01pm - Beat car 2573 is doing a premise check at 3140 N Davlin.

4:14pm - 1) Vice complaint. Barry and Monticello. Males drinking. 2) Municipal ordinance violation. On 2523's beat [its somewhere on Harding]. No further information.

4:15pm - Disturbance. 1600 N Harding. Someone screaming over a megaphone on the block. Beat 2535 says they're having a block party, so it's coded 19P.

4:30pm - Beat car 2573 codes the 4:01pm check as 19Paul and is doing another at 2850 N Hamlin.

4:34pm - Beat 2543 is assigned to the DOC this evening. Event number is 12932.

4:35pm - Beat car 2523 has a stop at 2306 N Lawndale.

4:36pm - Beat 2523 needs two DLs ran.

4:38pm - One of the DLs comes back clear but the other comes back expired.

5:02pm - Beat car 2523 gets an info for the police after the municipal on Harding.

Around 5:10pm - Two officers are in front of my house, looking like they're trying to get in. I have no idea what that's about. Maybe it's part of the 5:02pm job. Whatever it was about, I'm thinking about calling for a supervisor to find out.

5:28pm - Battery in progress. 2134 N Springfield. Sounds like 5 people are fighting.

5:31pm - A slow down is given on the 5:28pm job. Also, a domestic battery is coming in at 2221 N Springfield. It may be related to the 5:28pm job.

About 5:50 to 6:30pm - I wasn't really paying attention because we were trying to figure out what we should do about the 5:10pm situation.

6:49pm - Traffic accident. North and Avers. No further information.

6:51pm - Loud music disturbance. 444X W Altgeld. Neighbors blasting the music, all the time.

7:05pm - Vicious animal. Altgeld and Killbourn. A deer is running eastbound from Killbourn.

7:15pm - Burglar alarm. 4200 W Diversey. No further information.

7:16pm - Gang disturbance. 2400 N Tripp. They're on the corner, throwing bottles.

7:29pm - Narcotics. 4254 W Altgeld. 6 male gangbangers smoking marijuana.

7:54pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back soon.

8:16pm - I'm back from eating.

8:17pm - EMS run. 3636 W Wolfram. Also coming in on George. Intoxicated male is down.

8:26pm - Parker. On 2524's beat on Harding.

8:31pm - Criminal damage. 3963 W Belmont. No further information.

8:36pm - Beat 2523 is getting a couple of things on the PDT after lunch.

8:41pm - Disturbance. 4450 W Altgeld. No further information.

8:55 to 9:03pm - It was too loud in here to anything. Sorry.

9:07pm - Beat car 4653Eddie is on a stop at Pulaski and Belden. Running a few names.

9:12pm - Burglar alarm. 2010 N Central Park. No further information, but this is due to huge a power outage in the area.

9:15 to 9:25pm - Same thing as the 8:55 to 9:03pm. Altough, multiple calls of shots fired did came in the area around Kedvale and Palmer.

9:27pm - Shots fired. 2301 N Kedvale. 12 yr old caller says that shots were fired in front. They want police to come check on them because they're scared.

9:29pm - A unit has a handwaver at the location of the 8:41pm job.

9:32pm - Beat 2525 is requesting a call back on the 9:27pm job.

9:34pm - Person with a gun. Belmont and Milwaukee. Male in a green Chevy trail blazer has a gun. He fled west on Belmont.

9:36pm - 1) Gang disturbance. 3700 W Shakespeare. I guess they're causing problems. 2) 3919 W Belden for a car vandalized. 3) Loud music disturbance. 2106 N Lawndale. In the yard.

9:41pm - An ambulance is needed at the 9:34pm job for someone having chest pains.

9:43pm - Person with a knife. 4427 W Montana. Boyfriend just jumped the complaint and pulled out a knife.

9:44pm - 1) EMS run. Davlin and Barry. Male is down. EMS en route. 2) Beat 2521 is getting things on the PDT.

9:46pm - A slow down is being given on the 9:44pm job. Offender is in custody.

9:53pm - Gang disturbance. 2415 N Harding. No further information.

9:55pm - Domestic disturbance. 3905 W Belden. Mother and son fighting.

10:06pm - Domestic disturbance. 2822 N Springfield. Problem with the mother.

10:12pm - People throwing bottles at Lawndale and Fullerton.

10:14pm - Battery in progress. 4144 W Barry. Group of people fighting.

10:17pm - 1) Beat car 2535 is getting multiple disturbances on the PDT. 2) Beat 2544 is getting a number of things.

10:22pm - Person with a knife. Belmont and Konster. Complaint was beaten up by the husband who pulled a knife out.

10:25pm - Gang disturbance. In the alley between Pulaski and Harding on the 1800 block. They're making lots of noise.

10:27pm - Sounds like something is going on at 4350 W Belmont.

10:28pm - Beat car 2524 is getting a few things.

10:41pm - Beat 45Sam15 is calling in loud reports at Fullerton and Tripp.

10:42pm - Actually, the 10:41pm reports are fireworks and they've got someone in custody.

11:19pm - Criminal trespass in progress. 1855 N Monticello. Male is curled underneath the stairs.

11:27pm - Municipal ordinance violation. 3909 W Schubert. Construction workers doing something.

11:38pm - Beat car 2523 gets some things on the PDT.

11:40pm - 1) Disturbance. 4452 W Altgeld. No further information. 2) Disturbance. Altgeld and Central Park. No further information. 3) Beat 2525 gets some disturbances on the PDT.

11:46pm - Beat 2552 says that woman is requesting a supervisor at 3121 N Pulaski. She's upset over not getting a report for criminal damage in which Beat car 2521 Third Watch handled. Beat 2530 is going over there.

11:59pm - Alright, I'm out for the night with 25 (which will return Monday). I'm mointoring 14 tomorrow.
