Good afternoon, everyone, it's 3:45pm. School was ok today (read my last post if you want all details). Also, it's Friday, so I'm glad for that, though it's warm out. Anyway, here is crime for this afternoon and evening.
3:21pm - Check the well being. 3704 W George. A patient didn't come in for an appointment and everytime the therapy place attempts a call, the patient doesn't answer.
3:23pm - Beat car 45Sam15 is on a traffic stop at 3628 W Shakespeare.
3:27pm - Disturbance. 4159 W Fullerton. 30 teens are being loud.
3:38pm - Criminal trespass in progress. 3850 W Altgeld. Two males inside a 2nd floor vacant apartment.
3:52pm - Beat 2525 is getting another job on the PDT.
3:55pm - The 3:21pm patient is fine. They just don't like the service from the therapy place.
3:56pm - Battery in progress. Shakespeare and Central Park. Couple of calls on it. Group fighting. Someone's trying to run a few people over in a car. 14 may also be responding.
3:59pm - 1) Now the 3:56pm job is also coming in as a person with a gun. An older SUV model has a gun in it. 2) Beat car 2525 says there's alot of people standing on 14's side of the 3:56pm job.
4:00pm - Beat 2525 says they talked to a couple of people who said the car fled. 14 is given a disregard and this is coded 19Paul.
4:04pm - Person with a gun. Armitage and Central Park. Male Hispanic in blue clothing is walking north in an alley with an M16.
4:06pm - 1) Beat car 2525 is asking for a call back on the 4:04pm job. 2) It's a bad cell phone number on the 4:04pm job. 3) A slow down is being given on the 4:04pm job because Beat 2525 has checked both alleys and nobody's there.
4:08pm - Beat car 2525 has two stopped at 1943 N Lawndale. They're going to check it out.
4:09pm - An RD number has been pulled for Beat 2563Charlie at 2115 N Central Park. It's HR310200 with the event number of 13295. They're in 25 now.
4:13pm - The 4:08pm stop is being duped out to the 4:04pm job.
4:17pm - Beat car 2523 gets a vice complaint on the PDT.
4:24pm - Gang disturbance. Cortland and Pulaski. 3 male Hispanic and Black gangbangers flashing signs at passing cars.
4:32pm - There is a selling near the 4:24pm job.
4:40pm - Beat 2523 gets a music disturbance on the PDT.
4:41pm - Parker. 4235 W Wrightwood. Car blocking driveway.
5:21pm - Disturbance. 2432 N Tripp. 15 males are being loud in front of the abandoned building. Caller is concerned about gang activity.
5:22pm - Disturbance. Armitage and Pulaski. Loud group throwing bottles.
5:24pm - Beat car 2525 has the 5:22pm group stopped at 2059 N Pulaski.
5:31pm - Gang disturbance. North and Hamlin. 10 of them throwing signs on the corner.
5:34pm - Beat 2520 needs another car at 4420 W Wrightwood.
5:37pm - Beat car 2520 has 2524 with him.
5:38pm - Beat 2524 is running a plate.
5:46pm - Beat 2523 has a traffic stop at Diversey and Pulaski.
5:48pm - Battery in progress. Killbourn and Altgeld. 5 gangbangers fighting.
5:56pm - Domestic disturbance. 3033 N Avers. The estranged husband is blocking the caller.
6:04pm - Gang disturbance. 1634 N Hamlin. 3 to 4 gangbangers arguing in an alley behind a garage. One of them has something in their hand. This call came out over an hour ago.
6:11pm - Disturbance. 2446 N Kildare. Landlord is bothering utilies.
6:13pm - Beat car 2524 is going to handle a criminal damage at 2447 N Kildare.
6:22pm - Person down. 3658 W Diversey. Male on the ground behind the restaurant.
6:36pm - 1) Beat 2523 gets a selling on the PDT. 2) Disturbance. 3700 block of W Altgeld. Male Hispanic wearing all black walking up and down the street, causing a disturbance.
7:10pm - Beat 2524 has a traffic stop at 2915 N Avers.
7:24pm - Beat car 2524 is heading into 25 with a TBD from the 7:10pm traffic stop.
7:28pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back soon.
7:48pm - I'm back from eating.
7:49pm - Check the well being. 3943 W Diversey. Apartment 219. First call had someone asking for some assistance. On the second call, the caller didn't need any help, but per the dispatcher's supervisor, they're to send a car there anyway.
7:51pm - 1) Criminal damage to property. 2614 N Monticello. No further information. 2) Suspicious person. Armitage and Central Park. No further information.
7:56pm - 1) Beat 2546 asks if there's any updates on the 7:49pm job. 2) I spot two male Hispanics running down my block, as if they're running from someone. I'm watching this situation. One of them I saw about three hours who kept circling the block on a bike.
8:05pm - Beat car 2525 asks for a call back on Armitage and Central Park.
8:07pm - Beat 2525 codes Armitage and Central Park as 5Boy because of a busy signal on the call back.
8:08pm - EMERGENCY on Zone 12. Northbound on Lamon from Kinize.
8:09pm - Sounds like a caddy is at 4908 W Kinize.
8:10pm - A slow down is given on the foot chase.
8:21pm - Robbery. Wrightwood and Monticello. 3 males hit the caller, took their chain and fled in a purple minivan.
8:26pm - Taken from the 8:21pm job was a gold chain. Three male Hispanics fled south on Monticello in a purple minivan.
8:44pm - Disturbance. North and Avers. Kids on a ladder attempting to steal a street sign.
8:49pm - Battery in progress. 3144 N Monticello. A drunk is on the 2nd floor rear porch, fighting someone.
9:38pm - Alarm. 3651 W Schubert. At the Monroe school. 1st floor, west hallway motion.
9:58pm - Beat car 2524 is on a traffic stop at Altgeld and Hamlin. Also, they got something for after that.
10:05pm - Sounds like Beat 45Sam25 is on a street stop at 21 or 3132 N Pulaski. Running a name.
10:23pm - EMERGENCY on Zone 12. Someone's running somewhere around Washington and Latrboe.
10:24pm - A slow down is given on the 10:23pm chase. Offender was last seen in the 100 block of N Lockwood.
10:26pm - Assault in progress. 3033 N Hamlin. Male chasing someone. Heading south.
10:29pm - Several calls are coming in for a gang disturbance and Assault in progress at the 10:26pm job. Gangbangers are threatening people. Other mayhem is occurring.
10:34pm - Sounds like officers have located the 10:23pm runner. He's running towards Lockwood on Washington.
10:35pm - The 10:23/10:34pm offender is in custody. A slow down is given.
10:39pm - 1) Domestic disturbance. 4141 W Fullerton. On the 3. Problem with the boyfriend or something. 2) Beat car 2524 asks dispatch if she had a gang disturbance at Milwaukee and Hamlin. Dispatch says yes. It's coded 19Paul.
10:51pm - 1) Gang disturbance. Milwaukee and Hamlin. No further information. 2) Assault in progress. 3919 W Fullerton. Several males threatening to beat up the complaint.
10:52pm - A backlog is put into 25 at 22:52 hours.
11:13pm - Suspicious person. McLean and Hamlin. Male Hispanic, 6 feet tall with no shirt is checking cars out with a flashlight.
11:41pm - Beat 2561Adam needs another car at Wrightwood and Tripp.
11:42pm - A slow down is given at the 11:41pm job.
11:59pm - This ends my coverage of 25 for tonight. Tomorrow, I'm going to cover 14. I'll be back with 25 on Sunday from 12:21 to 1:08pm.
