Good evening, everyone, it's 7:57pm. Last night's festival I mentioned is happening again tonight. I wonder how long it'll be before they get a call for over there. Anyway, here is crime for tonight.
7:38pm - Suspicious vehicle. 2504 N Keeler. I guess a white Grand Am is suspicious.
7:52pm - Beat car 2525 gets some disturbances on the beat after their lunch.
8:08pm - Animal abuse. Fullerton and Central Park. Male is hitting dog with leash.
8:24pm - Traffic accident. Diversey and Pulaski. CTA bus #1311 is involved.
8:31pm - Beat 2535 gets a loud music disturbance on the PDT.
8:32pm - Beat cars 2524/2525 get parkers on the PDTs.
8:40pm - Battery. 3944 W Cortland. Male beaten up.
8:57pm - An off duty PO working security over at the festival on Wolfram and Lawndale needs a car to come get an arrest.
9:28pm - There are some parkers on 2523's beat.
9:46pm - Domestic disturbance. 2237 N Hamlin. Ex roommate needs to be removed.
9:56pm - EMS run. Milwaukee and Central Park. Male sick from chemicals.
10:05pm - 1) Beat 2523 is asking if EMS made a removal from the 9:56pm. Dispatch says no and that they returned to headquarters. It's coded out 5Boy. 2) Parker. 3600 W Oakdale. Permits.
10:08pm - Beat car 2523 is on a hand waver at 3615 W Oakdale.
10:09pm - Battery in progress. George and Springfield. 10 or more gangbangers fighting.
10:10pm - Two more calls just came in for 2917 and 2919 N Springfield. 10 to 15 male White and Hispanic gangbangers fighting with bottles.
10:11pm - Loud music disturbance. 43 or 4435 W Parker. Loud music.
10:12pm - Disturbance. 2312 N Kedvale. 3 male Hispanics, one in a white hoodie, one in a black hoodie and one in a green hoodie are jumping on parked cars.
10:18pm - A slow down is given on the 10:09/10:10pm jobs.
10:19pm - The 10:12pm job is coded 2Boy.
10:25pm - Burglary. 2442 N Lawndale. Two male Blacks just tried to break in and assault the caller's cousin.
10:32pm - 1) Disturbance. 4253 W Wellington. 3 teens playing basketball. 2) Disturbance. 2630 N Avers. Noise.
10:33pm - 1) Prostution. On 2535's beat. No further information. 2) Beat 2552 is heading over to Wolfram and Lawndale, probably to keep an eye on that festival.
10:39pm - Shots fired. 3646 W Cortland. Eight shots heard in the alley.
10:46pm - Battery. 3607 W Fullerton. Complaint was jumped on by 3 teens.
10:47pm - Disturbance. 2215 N Keeler. Noise.
10:52pm - Person with a gun. Armitage and Pulaski. Two male Hispanics with black leather jackets talking about robbing a woman at the Pioneer Liquoir store. One has a gun.
10:54pm - 1) Police Heilcopter 1 is hovering over the 10:52pm job. 2) Beat car 2561 says that nobody heard anything. He's heading a north to search some more.
10:58pm - Beat 2561 codes the 10:52pm job as 19Boy.
10:59pm - Beat car 2534 was JUST assigned the 10:39pm job. That's right. 20 minutes later.
11:01pm - Beat 2561 has a male in a black leather jacket stopped at Armitage and Harding. This might possibly be from the 10:52pm job.
11:04pm - Beat car 2561 codes the 11:01pm stop as 19Paul because altough he did have a subject, the male had nothing on him.
11:06pm - Person with a gun. Fullerton and Tripp. Group of male Hispanics hanging out by the flower shop and the male with green and black has a gun in his waistband.
11:08pm - A slow down is given on the 11:06pm job.
11:09pm - A unit has a person down at 1919 N Springfield. EMS is on the way.
11:10pm - Police Helicopter 1 is hovering over the 11:06pm job.
11:13pm - Police Helicopter 1 says nobody was found from the 11:06pm job.
11:39pm - From 2630 N Avers, the job was coded 19Paul. The music was turned down. It's a loud party.
11:57pm - Beat 2525 needs a female for a search at Palmer and Kedvale.

Looking back to my post last night, at 10:43pm, there was a Battery in progress at 3910 West George. Two males were fighting in a hallway. About 10 minutes ago, there was the George and Springfield call for a Battery in progress of 10 gangbangers fighting.
Does anybody think two those things may be related?
