Suspicious vehicle on Harding (1:13pm)

Good afternoon, everyone, it's 12:58pm. I will be here until 1:28pm, then I'll be gone until 2:44pm, at which time I'll return until 4:28pm. After 4:28pm, I will not return until tomorrow. Anyway, here is crime for this afternoon.

1:13pm - Suspicious vehicle. 1814 N Harding. A burgundy car has been there for 45 minutes. There are two male Hispanics in it. One has on a white shirt. They don't live there and they're in violation of premit parking.

1:18pm - Burglary. 2210 N Lawndale. Complaint caught someone in the garage. They took off in a black vehicle.

1:28pm - I'm going to go until 2:44pm.

2:44pm - I'm back.

3:07pm - Criminal damage in progress. Shakespeare and Lawndale. Two male Hispanic and Blacks carrying flowers?? What?

3:10pm - Assist the citizen. 1812 N Harding. The ex husband is on the way with a stolen vehicle under RD number HR336316.

3:18pm - Disturbance. 3944 W Cortland. People are sitting out in front that shouldn't be there. They might be selling drugs.

3:19pm - Parker. 4165 W Flecther. Car with plates of 48D536 has been there for a few days.

3:29pm - Battery in progress. 3100 N Lawndale. 3 males fighting with bats. Possibly gang related.

3:33pm - Traffic control. Fullerton and Central Park. Female is directing traffic because the traffic signals are messed up.

3:35pm - The 3:10pm job is coded 1Paul.

3:38pm - Beat car 2525 says that the signals on Central Park are red at the 3:33pm job and traffic is terrible.

3:40pm - An ambulance is needed at 3058 N Lawndale for a battery vitcim injured.

3:55pm - Now the 3:10pm job comes in as a domestic disturbance. The ex husband is on scene with the red '09 Toyota. Beat 2552 lets 2573 (the responding unit) know that it's a domestic battery issue.

3:58pm - Beat car 2544 says that the vitcim is now refusing medical attention because the ambulance hasn't arrived. They're finishing the report.

4:03pm - Beat 2505 is doing a park check at Mozart.

4:28pm - I'm going to go. I'll be back tomorrow morning. Good night, everyone.

Tonight, things have gotten a little crazy in the 'hood. At about 8:30pm, I called 911 about shots fired. I heard 4 to 5 of them in the north alley of Diversey between Ridgeway and Lawndale.

Shots fired calls have also came in at 2623 N Avers and 2100 N Hamlin.
