Reckless driver on Pulaski

Good morning, everyone, it's 6:30am. Today is supposed to be the warmest day for at least another 10 days (it's already 61 outside and they're forcasting 80), so I will definately monitor the latest on crime in the neighborhoods. Here is crime before I leave this morning and for this afternoon/evening.

6:08am - Reckless driver. Palmer and Pulaski. White BMV with a plate of 9704629 is speeding westbound on Palmer.

6:28am - Beat car 2520 is inquiring about the 6:08am job.

6:45am - I have to go. Have a great day, everyone, and I'll be back later.

4:11pm - I know I'm late, but I'm back.

4:12pm - Battery in progress. Fullerton and Lowell. Group of 50 fighting.

4:13pm - Multiple calls coming in at the 4:12pm job. Calls also coming in at Fullerton/Konster and 4335 W Fullerton. Large group fighting with bats and sticks.

4:14pm - Beat 2544 is saying the mob at the 4:12/4:13pm jobs are walking towards Kildare. They're not fighting right now.

4:16pm - Disturbance. Koz Park. 7 female teens smoking weed and harassing a softball coach.

4:54pm - Battery in progress. Monticello and Schubert. Group fight. Moving east.

5:13pm - Found property. 1929 N Pulaski. At the group home. No further information.

5:16pm - Disturbance. 2856 N Hamlin. Male sitting on a porch of a vacant house with a bike, harassing children.

5:26pm - Gang disturbance. 4400 W Parker. Several gangbangers harassing passing vehicles.

5:27pm - Drag racing. 3100 block of N Tripp. Two cars.

5:36pm - Parker. 3600 block of W Wolfram. I guess a car has been parked there for a while.

5:41pm - Person with a knife. Lawndale and Palmer. Male took a baby from a female at knife point.

5:43pm - Shots fired. Springfield and Wabansia. Couple of calls. Male Hispanic in a long red t-shirt and long blue jean shorts fired some shots.

5:46pm - A slow down is being given on the 5:41pm job.

5:47pm - A slow down is being given on the 5:43pm job.

5:48pm - Beat car 2535 reports that a male may be having a heart attack in his car at 2738 N Pulaski.

5:49pm - Beat 2524 is asking for a call back on the 5:41pm job. Dispatch is advising that they handle accordingly.

5:51pm - 1) Multiple descriptions are coming in at the 5:43pm job. Two more with red shirts, but one had on blue pants. 2) Domestic Battery. 3633 W McLean. Male Hispanic, 28, in a black shirt and blue jeans hit the caller's sister and took her baby.

5:52pm - Parker. 2530 N Hamlin. No further information.

5:53pm - Now the 5:43pm job is coming in as a suspicious person. Male in a red shirt standing in the park with a hand in his pocket as if he has a gun.

5:58pm - 3633 West McLean is now coming in as a kidnapping.

6:07pm - 1) Assist the citizen. 1848 N Harding. Complaint needs help getting belongings. 2) Disturbance. 1951 N Monticello. Three male White Hispanics drinking.

6:08pm - Beat car 2505 is doing a park check at Kelyvn.

6:22pm - The 3633 W McLean offender fled north on Central Park. He lives at 3642 N. Pulaski, so Beat 2532 (who was assigned the job) is heading over there to possibly locate him.

6:30pm - Narcotics. George and Ridgeway. Male White, 5'9, 150 pounds and a male Hispanic, 5'5 and baggy jeans are selling drugs.

6:32pm - Beat 2505 has a traffic stop at Dickens and Springfield. Running a plate.

6:35pm - Narcotics. Ken-Well Park. 8 kids smoking pot.

6:36pm - 1) Beat car 2505's plate comes back to a 1996 GMC. It's clear. 2) The 6:08pm check and 6:32pm stop is coded 19Paul. 3) Beat 2505 has an on view disturbance at Mozart Park.

6:49pm - The unit that was assigned to the 6:30pm job goes by my house, pulls up at the corner and sits there for about 30 seconds, then leaves. From what I can see, nobody's at the corner, so the cops did the right thing.

6:53pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back soon.

7:06pm - I'm back form eating.

7:10pm - Beat 2546 asks for a DOC mission event number. It's going on the PDT.

7:34pm - Battery in progress. 1826 N Harding. Male hitting female.

7:35pm - Police have a bit of a history with the 7:34pm offender. He battered a cop last week, so they're sending some cars that way.

7:38pm - A slow down is given on the 7:34pm job.

7:47pm - Disturbance. Konster and Diversey. 8 teens just threw a bottle at a passing car.

7:50pm - Information for the police. 3950 W Fullerton. Popcorn is being sold in front.

8:00pm - Beat car 2505 has another on view disturbance at Mozart Park.

8:05pm - I have to go. I'll be back tomorrow. Good night, everyone.
