Guy Has Too Much To Drink @ Oakdale/Central Park, Neighbor Problem On Wellington

Good morning, everyone, it's 7:15am. It's a cloudy morning with temps in the mid 20s, and today will be about 30 with mostly cloudy conditions. Well, as we all know now, it's March, and that means a lot of things for us. Winter is just about over, technically, and the weather should start turning a least a little nicer and warmer this month. We also turn our clocks an hour ahead next weekend, and St. Patrick's Day is later in the month. I also go on spring break from college for a week in a few weeks. Unfortunately, though, crime will probably also start to pick up a lot more throughout this month, and with that reality soon to be excepted, I'm going to be changing a couple of things about my monitoring. Beginning in the third week of March, I'm going to be implementing "Zones" of specific areas to cover in the neighborhood. For example, Zone A is going to be 14 from Armitage to North, Damen to the Chicago River. I already have the areas mapped out on Google Maps, and I will be making the map public on March 21st. I will also put what Zones cover which areas on the main page. This was one of the reasons why I had you guys take that poll, to determine what areas I need to be covering more. For the areas that had 0 readers, I will be flyering those areas in attempt to gain readership. Most of those areas are in 14, east of Sacramento and south of Palmer, although I do have a pocket in 17 and one in 25. 14 is broken up into about 12 or 13 of these Zones, while 17 is broken up into two and 25 into three. I welcome any questions, comments or concerns about this new plan on here, at my crime blog email address or on the Facebook page. Lastly, I will be having you guys take another readership poll sometime in June and I will be remapping these Zones according to readership demands by July. Anyway, I'm monitoring 25 today from now until my dinner, and here's crime for today.

FYI, gang members are rumored to be sending their clean cut members to CAPS meetings. I suppose to find out what the police know & don't know.

The Guy at 2550 N. Pulaski was one of those skidder car wash guys. They want you to pay them when your car comes out of the car wash. They'll rub it with those dirty towels. The police used to chase them off, but no more.

Anonymous, that's been going on for sometime now, actually, at least from what I've heard. I don't know which Beats in our area have had this to happen so far, but I do advise everyone to be on the lookout when you attend your CAPS meeting, and if necessary, bring up your concerns in private to the officers. Thank you for reminding us.

Clearly there is an over-serving liquor situation at Oakdale and Central Park. I wonder if anything can be done about it.
