Good evening, everyone. I know this information might be a bit late, and I apologize for that. There were shots fired this morning around 2:15am at Point and California, on CAPS Beat 1431 and Zone E of the crime blog. According to a comment I received on it, a neighbor heard six shots in "quick, regular succession", then saw that Chicago Police had a house on Point taped up afterwards.
Does anyone else know what happened, or heard anything? If you have any information on this incident, or any kind of insight in regards to it, don't hesitate to leave a comment here, on the Facebook page or at my crime blog email address.

Just keep the shootings out of 16. We don't want that riff raff and nonsense up here.
I live on California and Point and was not even aware of this. Yikes!
It was 2136 N Point, a known gang house. There was a call ten minutes earlier around the corner at another known gang house 2765 W Francis. The first call was for an argument the second was for shots fired. The police did pick up casings. These houses have not got along in the past and maybe this is tied. I will not know until next caps meeting in May.
