Good afternoon, everyone. What can I say? More gunshots. More people shot. This time, two men were shot at 4:30 this morning at Foodsmart, 2901 W. Armitage, according to this Sun-Times article. Two men in their late 20s were walking through the parking lot of Foodsmart when a gold or brown Conversion minivan stopped at Armitage and Franscisco. Two men in that van shouted gang slogans, then one of them got out and opened fire on the two men. One man, 28, had a gunshot to his abdomen while a 27 yr old was shot in the buttocks. As the shots rang out, witnesses scrambled into the store for cover, along with the vitcims. The offenders got back into their van and took off. The 27 yr old was taken to Stroger in serious condition and the 28 yr old was taken to Illinois Masonic in good condition.
I seriously think people are gun happy in Logan Square, especially the thugs. And it ain't even summer yet. Just wait to then. All hell is going to break loose....
