Good afternoon, everyone, it's 3:33pm. Boy, is it hot out there! I'm sweating in buckets. School was ok. Just a little reminder, folks. Just because there hasn't been anything going on just yet with the gangs doesn't mean that they won't do anything. I'm excepting something in the next two or three days. Here's crime for this afternoon and early evening.
3:33pm - Disturbance w/ a mental. 2856 N Avers. The husband's a mental and he's going off.
4:11pm - Domestic disturbance. 3713 W Palmer. Sister's ex-boyfriend pounding on the door.
4:34pm - Burglar alarm. 2550 N Avers.
5:02pm - Burglar alarm. 2238 N Avers.
5:09pm - Gang disturbance. 3625 W Belmont. Six to seven of them throwing up signs.
5:16pm - Backlog in 25 at 17:16 hours.
5:34pm - Burglar report. 2126 N Hamlin.
5:38pm - Beat car 2524 has a street stop at Fullerton and Ridgeway.
5:55 to 6:14pm - I took a nap. Sorry :(.
6:38pm - Burglar report. 3627 W Shakespeare. Boyfriend broke into the apartment.
7:33pm - Domestic battery. Diversey and Monticello. Male Hispanic in a white tanktop and blue jean shorts beating a pregnant female. Probably his girlfriend or wife.
8:02pm - I have to go. I'll be back tomorrow afternoon. Night, everyone :).

You know, I'm pretty convinced that we need some kind of Air Conditioning Public Works to keep crime down in the summer.
