Quiet Saturday In 17

Good morning, everyone, it's 12:00am. Today, I'm monitoring 17 for our residents in Avondale north of Belmont. Nothing else to say. Here's crime in 17 for today.

4:10am - I'm heading to bed. I've waited four hours for a 911 call in Avondale in 17. There hasn't been one yet. So good night.

10:00am - I'm back. Good morning.

10:07am - Information for the police. 3324 N Harding. The boards on the building were taken off overnight.

10:11am - Beat 5505 comes over the Zone to let Beat cars 1731 and 1733, who are responding to Harding, know that Juan Vargas, who's got a large scar on his face, may be on scene. He's responsible for a Homicide at that address which occurred in November 2009.

10:29am - The 10:07am job is coded 19Boy. They searched the entire property but no offender on scene. However, the city does need to come out and board up the property.

1:57pm - Person down. Kimball and Belmont. By the Blue Line station. The station is on 14's side.

3:43pm - Beat 6756Boy had a stop at Addison and Lawndale.

6:55pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back.

7:15pm - I'm back.

7:23pm - Burglar alarm. 3656 W Belmont.

8:24pm - Commerical alarm. 2758 W Belmont. At the bank. Shock motion.

8:49pm - Beat 1720 needs 1762Charlie at Lawndale and Addison for something.

8:58pm - Beat car 1733 gets a parker on the Beat.

9:34pm - Beat 6757Frank needs a unit with a working PDT at 3810 W Belmont. 1731 is en route.

9:35pm - The 8:24m job is called back in.

10:44pm - My mom's listening to Zone 12 on her scanner, and there's something going on at 3025 N Haussen.

10:52pm - Parker. 3431 N Monticello.

10:58pm - Traffic accident. Addison and Kedzie.

12:00am - I'm finished monitoring 17 until probably February. Good night, everyone. I'll be back with 25 in the morning.
