Good morning, everyone, it's 5:28am. I'm going to monitor 14 until I leave for school. I want to show the readers what it's like in the early morning hours. Anyway, it's Friday. I'm excited. Three day weekend for me this weekend. I'll monitor 17 tomorrow. So, here's crime in 14 for the next hour and 15 minutes or so, and here's crime in 25 for this afternoon and evening.
6:16am - Commerical alarm. 1850 W Webster.
6:21am - Beat 1495 has a traffic stop at 2729 W Diversey.
6:29am - The 6:16am job is coded 14Charlie. No such address.
6:30am - Burglar report. 3118 N St. Louis.
6:34am - Beat 1495 is taking one in from the 6:21am stop.
6:40am - I have to go. Have a great day, everyone, and I'll be back this afternoon.
3:15pm - I'm back. Good afternoon.
3:26pm - Burglar report. 2123 N Kedvale.
3:38pm - 1) Battery. 3045 N Pulaski. 2) Missing person report. 3628 W Shakespeare.
3:42pm - Disturbance. 2926 N Ridgeway. Seven males loitering in the alley. That wouldn't explain the ambulance and firetruck on that block.
3:43pm - Person w/ a kinfe. 3901 W Schubert. Sounds like the sister has a knife.
4:00pm - I'm going to lay down for a little while. I'll be back.
5:35pm - I'm back.
6:15pm - Battery. 225X N Central Park. Known male Black jumped on the 25 yr old handicapped brother.
6:35pm - This is not criminal in nature, but a kid on the wrestling team at Kelvyn Park High School dislocated their shoulder during a match. Ambulance 82 is en route. Beat car 2525 is detailed to the wrestling event.
6:47pm - Domestic disturbance. 2536 N Central Park. 13 yr old attacked and nearly raped by the uncle yesterday. He lives somewhere in the building but may not be home.
7:08pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back.
7:23pm - I'm back.
7:37pm - Person w/ a gun. Belmont and Central Park. Two male Hispanics with ski masks and one of them has a camoflouage coat. Apparently they've got guns.
7:58pm - Parker. 3100 block of N Harding. Premits.
8:48pm - Battery in progress. Lawndale and Dickens. 6 to 7 males beating on one. Possibly gang related.
8:51pm - Sounds like someone's going in with one from 1946 N Central Park.
8:52pm - Beat car 2525 is reporting that there's a group of gangbangers on the street at the 8:48pm job, but no vitcim.
9:20pm - The 8:49pm job is coded 19P.
9:32pm - Beat 2545 has a traffic stop at 3043 W Fullerton. Dang, they traveled six blocks out of the district.
9:37pm - Recover stolen auto. Harding and George.
10:21pm - Somebody's doing something at Avers and Milwaukee.
10:39pm - The "hot file" on the 9:37pm vehicle was cleared.
11:47pm - Suspicious vehicle. 1753 N Harding. Three people acting suspicious.
