Good morning, everyone, it's 6:43am. I'm monitoring 17 today for all of you residents North of Belmont and will be monitoring 14 tomorrow, then 25 on Monday. Not sure what I'm going to monitor for the last two days of the month, though. This coming week, besides going to work, I only have the Beat 1411/1412 CAPS meeting to attend on Thursday evening at 7pm over at St. Nicolai's Church on Kedzie. Not much else to say, so here's crime for today.
10:55am - A 5300 unit has an on-view accident at Addison and Sacramento. Car crashed into a fence, needs EMS.
10:57am - Beat car 1732 is being assigned to the paper on that accident, and Beat car 1733 will do traffic control, as there's a disabled car in the intersection.
11:05am - 1733 is saying that one of the cars on Addison is blocking all of eastbound traffic, needs a tow or reload immediately. Seconds later, Beat car 1723 says that they've got a tow truck on scene, waiting for the order. The driver's contacting his dispatcher to see if he can do it.
11:07am - Another tow truck is leaving. They're coming from Kostner and Montrose.
1:14pm - 1732 is clear from the accident, taking at lunch in the hospital.
2:52pm - Disturbance. 2750 W Belmont. Dispute with a cashier.
3:08pm to 3:33pm - I stepped out of the room. I'm sorry. I'll listen to the archives later today.
3:38pm to 3:50pm - Again, I stepped out of the room. Sorry guys.
4:34pm - Burglar alarm. 34XX N Albany.
4:39pm - Disturbance. Eddy and Lawndale. Several kids are blocking the street, being loud and what not.
6:55pm - Loud music disturbance. 33XX N Avers.
6:56pm - Beat car 1733 is advising that the 6:55pm music is coming from the 3300 block of N. Hamlin, at the block party there. Coded 5Paul.
7:12pm - Disturbance. 2939 W Addison. At the Target. On the 2nd floor check-out area, security's having a problem with a very loud male customer who's been asked to leave several times and he's now causing a huge scene.
7:26pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back in a little while.
7:56pm - I'm back. Good evening, everyone.
9:47pm - I think there was a call in the area, but I'm not sure.

The 17th district is now changing for the worst. Since the yuppies are buying up property in 14, all the trouble is moving in here.
