Good afternoon, everyone, it's 3:37pm. I'm monitoring 17 from now until I have to go to class at about 4:50pm or so. I monitored 17 this morning from 6:23am to 8:01am and heard no calls. I'll also try to monitor 17 a little this evening before I go to bed. Anyway, I started my first day of work today. Yesterday, my co-worker's and I's schedules were messed up by our organization so we weren't scheduled for yesterday. I work at a government building in Downtown. Work was pretty good, I guess. I like my schedule and what I do, but it's going to take me some time to get used to having a boss. Good thing this particular job is only for six weeks. I work Tuesdays through Thursdays, and I have to attend training on the West Side for my job on Mondays and Fridays. Well, enough about me. Here's crime for portions of this afternoon and evening.
4:06pm - Traffic accident. Cornelia and Harding. Two cars, no injures.
4:56pm - I have to go to class. I may or may not be back tomorrow. If not, have a good night, everyone!
9:51pm - I'm back. Good evening, everyone.
11:03pm - I have to go to bed. I'll see you all tomorrow. Have a good night, everyone!

I missed the deadline for the poll about which intersections we would like to have monitored. I hope its ok for me to say here: Diversey/Central Park and Diversey/Pulaski are important to our family. Thanks for this great blog!!!!
FYI, you should never assume a women walking down street is a prostitute. However, there are certain signs. Many strut wearing thigh high boots, licking their lips, lots of eye contact w/ single men, looking tired, ect... Prostitution is not a victimless crime & seems to happen more during summer.
I will include your vote into my results, Amy. Thank you for letting me know :).
