Good afternoon, everyone, it's 3:40pm. I'm monitoring 25 this afternoon from now until midnight. I'm monitoring 25 tomorrow from 5am to 7am, then 17 from 1:45pm to 8pm. I'm sorry for not monitoring in the last couple of days, but work has had me exhausted by the evenings. Going to school doesn't help it, but I'm glad to be doing both to get myself ahead. I monitored 25 yesterday, though, from 4pm to 7:45pm, and will have that post up in a couple of hours. Here's crime for this afternoon and evening.
4:23pm - Burglar alarm. 3120 N Pulaski. At the Planet Fitness.
4:50pm - Gang disturbance. 1800 block of N Harding. Group near the corner throwing up gang signs.
6:32pm - Parker. On 2524's Beat.
7:03pm - Beat car 2525 will be heading to Mozart Park in a little while for a concert.
7:26pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back soon.
7:44pm - I'm back. Good evening, everyone.
7:45pm - Person w/ a gun. Diversey and Lawndale. Caller was just involved in an accident and the guy in the other car pulled a gun out on them. The offender is a male Hispanic with a black hat and red shirt. He's headed towards Ridgeway on Diversey.
7:47pm - A slow down is being given at the 7:45pm job per Beat car 2524. Nothing seen yet.
7:48pm - A disregard is being given now by 2524. No gun's involved.
9:01pm - Parker and loud music disturbance on 2535's Beat.
9:22pm - Shots Fired. Springfield and Palmer. Ten gunshots heard.
9:25pm - 2525 is giving a slow down on the 9:22pm job. They're at Mozart and have not heard anything.
9:34pm - Parker. On 2523Robert's Beat.
9:41pm - Disturbance. 39XX W Belden. Group loitering on the corner.
9:45pm - Gang disturbance. Ken-Well Park. Three males and two females gangbanging on the benches in the park.
10:11pm - Burglary in progress. 28XX N Hamlin. Male breaking into the basement.
10:28pm - Parker. On 2523R's Beat.
10:34pm - 1) Loud music disturbance. On 2535's Beat. 2) Disturbance. 1800 N Harding.
10:43pm - Battery in progress. Armitage and Karlov. Gang fight on the corner.
10:44pm - 1) Loud music disturbance. 36XX W Palmer. 2) Loud music disturbance. Karlov and Palmer.
10:45pm - Fireworks. Barry and Pulaski. Kids shooting off fireworks in the alley.
11:27pm - Battery in progress. Koz Park. Group fighting.
11:42pm - Loud music disturbance. 19XX N Harding.
11:46pm - Robbery. Hamlin and Armitage. Two males were just robbed.
11:51pm - Beat car 2525R needs EMS at the 11:46pm job. The victims were knocked to the ground and injured.
