Good afternoon, everyone, it's 5:45pm. It's a partly cloudy evening with temps in the lower 50s. It'll remain rather clear, with temps dropping into the upper 30s tonight. Anyway, I'm monitoring 25 from now until 6:45pm, then again from 7:34 to 9:20. I'll also be monitoring 25 tomorrow and 14 on Wednesday, from 8am to 4pm. I'm off from school until Thursday, as there is ACT testing at my school, and that's only for juniors. Happy that I have these two days off. So with that, here's crime for portions of late this afternoon and early this evening.
5:49pm - Traffic accident. Altgeld and Kostner. Two cars, possible injures. EMS is rolling.
6:10pm - Beat car 2524 has a bona fide burglary at 39XX W Schubert. 2520 is notified. A canvass yielded no results.
6:45pm - I'm going to go until 7:34. I'll be back then.
7:34pm - I'm back, until 9:20.
8:43pm - Assault in progress. 40XX W Nelson. Group arguing in front.
8:44pm - Parker. On 2525's Beat.
8:59pm - EMS run. 28XX N Central Park. Unruly patient.
9:20pm - I'm going to go for the night. I'll be back tomorrow with 25. Have a good night, everyone.

We do people keep calling in those folks fighting on the streets? When most are just shuck and street jiving. ASin't nobody fighting..

Let's learn the proper way of writing sentences. We must educate people so they can succeed in life. Your grasp on sentence structure can be extremely confusing.
All you whimps got to move out of Chicago! Stop calling in nonsense for the police. Grow some balls...
@ Anonymous 8:34am on 4/25/12 - Sorry but that won't happen. Educated people are moving into Logan Square. People with careers will change the neighborhood and clean it up. Businesses will come and the lazy and criminal polluted families will be pushed out. Have to keep calling and cleaning out the garbage. If people refuse to get educated they get let behind. No careers and hanging out on the street will be eradicated. We will call constantly on these people. Non stop for the coming years. Gangbangers will be shut down. If they can't be taught to live like humans then we will have them sent to Afghanistan or they can move down south of Lake Street into the war zones.
I'd rather have the gangbangers than the freaky yuppie circus clowns with their goofy tatoo's and face rings.. Oh, and odd ball clothing..
From what I have been seeing it's the street gang kids with the goofy face and neck tatoos with the odd ball clothing. As an older resident of Logan Square for the past 35 years, I'd rather see the yuppie people with jobs move to my nieghborhood. The street tough act with the drugs, guns and crime is enough. It's time they go.
