Shots Fired On Monticello, Gang Disturbance @ Milwaukee/Ridgeway

Good afternoon, everyone, it's 4:39pm. It's a cloudy day with temps in the 60s, I believe. It's supposed to rain this afternoon and evening, with temps dipping into the lower 50s. I'm monitoring 25 from now until 9pm, then again from 11pm to midnight. Here's crime for this afternoon and evening.

4:40pm - Shots Fired. Barry and Monticello. About seven heard.

5:14pm - Gang disturbance. Milwaukee and Ridgeway.

5:46pm - Disturbance. 22XX N Central Park. Female in a red Chevy in front yelling and honking the horn.

5:51pm - Beat car 2524 has a traffic stop at 3929 W Belmont.

6:11pm - 1) Burglar alarm. 41XX W Fletcher. 2) Gang disturbance. Ridgeway and Diversey. Four male Hispanic Latin Kings, late teens or 20s, shouted "KING LOVE N***A!!", threw a bottle and then started to run after some Cobras they saw, but turned back. They're wearing all black. Two in hoodies, one in a shirt and checkered shorts and one in blue jeans.

7:15pm - Gang disturbance. Pulaski and Armitage. Five males representing on the corner.

7:51pm - Gang disturbance. Belmont and Monticello.

8:10pm - Gang disturbance. 3100 block of N Monticello. Near a white building, there's 10 to 15 of them loitering and what not.

9:00pm - I'm going to go until 11. I'll be back then.

11:00pm - I'm back.

11:15pm - Gang disturbance. 29XX N Lawndale. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call.

11:18pm - Vicious animal. 29XX N Lawndale. Neighbor's vicious pit bull is on the back porch. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call.

12:00am - I'm going to go for the night. I'll be back either tomorrow, Friday or this weekend. Have a good night, everyone.

We need stronger gun control laws on the books. Many of these weapons have no sporting or hunting use. Therefore should be banned.

Mary LaNett, you should be banned from commenting on this blog because you have no use either!

I agree Mary. We also need to bring back the old Vagrancy Laws that required street people to have a minimum of $2 at all times. Link card does not count either.
