Wow, heard on the news that the police are running scared of working the NATO summit. Even over heard a few in a tavern at Fullerton and Western crying about not being up to the job downtown. Gee, its nice to see how they'll stand up. Perhaps its about time someone knocks them down a bit.

I noticed that you fall asleep a lot Timmy. Maybe you should consult a dr. Could be a serious medical condition.

@ Anonymous 12:43pm 4/29/12 - The police are not running scared from anything. The few you overheard at the bar were not Chicago Police. Please correct this in your thoughts.

Does Vegas have any odds on how the city will crumble during the NATO summit? Figure the police are short-handed, so lots of them will flee at any sign of resistance.

I live on Beat 1121 near Division & Kedzie. The gentlemen
seem to be selling "rocks" & "blows" all day/night. The poleece seem to have given up on the neighborhood.

Unbelievable. Things were backed up so bad I heard a call of a drunk driver hitting 2 parked cars. It had 1.5 hours on it!!!

Jobs backed up? Nonsense. The cops are sitting on their hands not doing anything. I hope the city see's this at their contract time. Thus giving them a paycut...

Hey, there, I called 311 because a guy was lying in the sidewalk and not moving. It was on Sunday night at Hamlin and Diversey. We weren't sure if he was just passed out or if he had had a heart attack or something. Do you know what happened to him?

I think he got up and flew away.

I hope the family of the girl who was killed in the projects gets millions. Way to go CPD, I-bonding a 21yr old white mentally ill girl our of 51st & Wentworth. Everyone who worked in lockup that day should be held responsible. You should be fired & have your pensions taken away.
