Landlord/Tenant Dispute On Oakdale

Good afternoon, everyone, it's 12pm. Sorry I'm late, but I stayed up really late last night and just woke up. Anyway, today starts the three days of the St. Hyacinth's Carnival (Lawndale and Wolfram). It starts at 6pm and goes until 10pm, then tomorrow from 6pm to 11pm, and then Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 11pm. Personally, I'm not really looking forward to it, as it brings gang problems over here, but hopefully it's good this year. Having said that, I will be kicking into special coverage mode from 9:30pm to 11pm to cover the carnival. My boundaries will be Ridgeway to the west, Milwaukee to the north, Central Park to the east, and Schubert to the south. My coverage will be in this color. I'm monitoring that small area just in case. If anything happens tonight, I'll be monitoring the carnival tomorrow the whole time its open. With that, here's crime for this afternoon and evening.

12:22pm - Landlord/tenant dispute. 41XX W Oakdale.

1:32pm - EMS run. 3607 W Fullerton. Man having a seizure in the parking lot of the Tony's. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call.

2:36pm - Burglar report. 19XX N Lawndale.

3:09pm - The 2:36pm job is bona fide.

5:02pm - Gang disturbance. Cortland and Monticello.

6:19pm - Parker. 28XX N Ridgeway. Permit. Gold Dodge Caravan.

7:05pm - Assault in progress. 25XX N Lawndale.

7:47pm - Just so everyone knows, Zone 12 is experiencing lots of problems on the radios. There's a fuzzy sound that keeps cutting the dispatcher out when she talks. So a solution they have for it is switching over to Citywide 6. The frequency for that channel is 460.250. If you haven't done so already, please turn your radios to that channel.

8:12pm - Gang disturbance. Diversey and Lawndale. They're throwing up signs and harassing people at the bus stop.

8:27pm - Traffic accident. Central Park and Cortland.

8:36pm -1) Parker. 31XX N Ridgeway. 2) Parker. 25XX N Hamlin.

8:40pm - To a person named Undergrounded: I'm sorry to be putting you out like this publicly, but can you email me at weatherboy58@hotmail.com, please? Thanks!

9:30pm - And my coverage of the St. Hyacinth's carnival has begun. Once again, I'm only covering the area of Schubert-Ridgeway-Milwaukee-Central Park.

10:00pm - The carnival should be letting out now. I'm listening for anything...

10:30pm - So far, so good.

11:00pm - That concludes my coverage of the carnival. Back to the normal monitoring. I will not be doing special coverage tomorrow evening, since nothing happened tonight. By the way, there's a criminal damage call at Cortland and Springfield with the caller's car window being busted out.

11:04pm - 1) Parker. 41XX W Barry. 2) Parker. 28XX N Ridgeway.

11:22pm - Disturbance. 3953 W Diversey. People being noisy. This is the address of the Golden Nugget at Diversey and Pulaski, I believe.

12:00am - I'm gone for the night. I'll be back in the morning. Hope everyone has a good and safe night.

I wish I could say our situation has improved, but it hasn't. We were just able to buy some more time.

I just checked the comments for that post you made the offer on, Undergrounded, and I DID respond to you the same day you offered. I told you I didn't know if I could take it. Did you look at the post for my reply? Next time, please look at my reply before accusing me of not responding, because I did.

We had shots fired at Cortland and Fairfield on Thursday around 7:30 at night.

Anonymous 3:30, sorry to hear that. Did the police show up? Did they find anything (if you know)? I'm going to make a post about it. Thank you for the information.

Be careful with these "work for yourself" types. I obviously don't know what Undergrounded has in mind, but make sure it's not an MLM aka pyramid scheme. If you are asked to sell something, oftentimes the real money is made by signing others up, ie your family and friends, to build the pyramid. Once again, this may be nothing like what you are being offered, but ask if there are any upfront costs to you, if you have to sell or recruit people, etc.

They should close down that St. Hy's carney. It turns normal folks into drunks.
