Good morning, everyone, it's 12am. It's another clear night outside, in the upper 60s. It's supposed to be around 80 with thunderstorms possible. Hopefully they won't be too bad. Anyway, from 8am to 4pm, I'll only be doing coverage of Monroe and Funston schools in 25, meaning that you will only see calls from those two schools up here during that time period. I'll post calls like "Shots Fired" and etc. if they happen, though. Also, the St. Hyacinth's annual carnival starts tomorrow. Hopefully it'll be calm this year. I'll talk more about it later. In the meantime, here's crime.
12:10am - Theft. 3801 W Belmont. At the Dunkin Donuts. Male customer at the drive-thru just stole money out of the window where the cashier gives the customers their orders.
12:23am - I'm off to bed. Good night, everyone, and I'll be back tomorrow.
8:00am - I'm back. Good morning, everyone.
9:01am - Assault report. Funston school (2010 N Central Park). A parent wants a report for an incident that occurred at the school yesterday.
4:00pm - And that concludes my coverage of Monroe and Funston schools. Back to the regular neighborhood covering. Hopefully, if we don't move, I'll get coverage of all the schools sometime during the school year.
5:20pm - Theft. 3940 W Fullerton. At the CVS.
5:36pm - There's another call for a theft over there.
6:14pm - Assist the citizen. Milwaukee and Belmont. Caller needs help getting their stolen bunny rabbit back from a male Hispanic, 30s, long hair, white t-shirt and jeans. He's trying to sell it. WOW....
6:24pm - Battery in progress. Belden and Keystone. Gang fight. Couple of calls. Someone said they were going to go get a gun.
6:42pm - The 6:24pm job is a gang-related traffic accident. The offenders were Yaks (MLDs) from Fullerton and Pulaski.
6:44pm - Chicago Park District security is reporting that there's a battery in progress on the 2300 block of N Lawndale. Seven teens are beating on one. I think this might be an error, as there's no park on Lawndale in the 2300 block. I think it might be Long.
6:45pm - Backlog in 25 at 18:45 hours.
6:46pm - Several battery in progress calls coming in on the 2300 block of N Lawndale. 15 to 20 teens fighting, jumping on one, etc.
6:47pm - A slow down is being given on Lawndale. The offenders are gone.
7:09pm - Someone's now claiming they have mercury poisoning at the CVS on Fullerton. WTF?
7:14pm - Beat 2542 needs an assist unit at 3635 W Armitage. 2552 is going.
7:16pm - 2542's going to be going in with one from their stop. They're giving a slow down.
7:20pm - Suspicious person (should've been a check the well being). Fullerton and Harding. Male White drinking a red bull and stumbling all over the place. He's got his hands in his pants, and is walking north on Harding, towards Altgeld.
7:34pm - Battery in progress. 21XX N Keystone. Six people fighting. Probably related to the earlier gang fight at Belden and Keystone. Caller wants the people locked up.
7:35pm - A white suburban is involved in the fight on Keystone.
