400 Pound Man Runs Two Blocks

Good morning, everyone, it's 8:15am. It's somewhat cloudy, and sunny, this morning. It's in the lower 80s and will get up into the mid 90s. It's supposed to storm this afternoon and evening, and the storms are supposed to be strong to severe. Hopefully it doesn't rain until after 9pm, because I have an event to go to tonight in 25. Anyway, I have to go out this morning for a couple of hours to handle some business, then I'll take a nap for a little bit, then blog until 4:40 or 4:45, then leave for the event. So with that, here's crime for portions of today.

8:58am - Criminal damage. 16XX N Harding. Male Hispanic, 400 lbs, orange shirt, tagged the caller's building and then ran into a building at Wabansia and Ridgeway.

9:05am - Beat car 2524 is doing foot patrol on the 3800 block of W Altgeld.

9:10am - Beat car 2523 is doing foot patrol on the 3100 block of N Kenosha.

9:12am - An updated flash is being given on the 8:58am job. The kid is 200 to 250 lbs, heavy set, 15 yrs old, with black hair.

9:16am - Beat car 2525 is doing foot patrol on the 2100 block of N Kedvale.

9:18am - Suspicious person. 2300 block of N Kedvale. Male White, 30s, white shirt and blue jeans, is going door-to-door. Now heading west on Belden towards Keeler.

12:30pm - I'm back. Good afternoon, everyone.

2:10pm - Fire. 1633 N Hamlin. Roofers were tearing off roof, now its on fire. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call for me.

2:13pm - Beat car 2534 reports that what appears to be a day care center has been evacuated from 1633 N Hamlin; they weren't aware there was a fire. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call for me.

2:25pm - Event at 1633 N Hamlin deemed to be false alarm, probably dust or smoke clearing from roof removal, no fire seen. Thanks to ProdigalOne for obtaining this call for me.

2:36pm - Burglar alarm. 43XX W Drummond.

3:43pm - Battery in progress. Milwaukee and Monticello. Two separate fights in progress, with two males beating on one, and two females fighting.

4:07pm - I'm going to go a little earlier than excepted. I'll be back later.

8:16pm - I'm back, earlier than excepted.

9:34pm - And again, I have to go, due to the storms now. I'm really sorry for not blogging much today.
