Such a waste of time. These beat meetings are a joke. The cops just sit there with nothing to show. They should let folks bring rotten fruit and veggies to throw at them.

No, they're not a joke. At the meetings, you come and you let the community know what's happening on your block or in front of your house or whatever, and if the cops don't address it, the community can. These meetings aren't really about the cops in the first place. That's why it's called CAPS (Community Alternative Police Strategy). It's more or less a community meeting than a police meeting. And, by the way, maybe someone should've taught you this, but if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say it at all. And, also, maybe they should bring food to throw at some of you idiot so-called community people who disrupt the meetings.

Timmy, do you have a back porch? Perhaps you could help the homeless by letting them sleep on your porch. The garage at 2941 N. Avers does get cold at night.
