Good morning, everyone, it's 6:43am. My stomach and tooth problems are gone for now. I'm only dealing with a little bit of a sore throat at the moment. Anyway, for those interested, the 25th District is holding it's National Night Out event tonight (6-8pm) at the station, 5555 W Grand. At this event, you will get to drink (no liquor, LOL), eat, have fun, etc. with your neighbors that go, and the officers that work your area. I think the 14th and 17th Districts might be having something similar, but I would call their station and ask. I'm not going to tonight's event because I'm still trying to get better, and because of the lateness of the event. It takes me a good hour to get from there back to here. I wouldn't be home until dark, and I'm not allowed to be out when it's dark out. So, yeah, here's crime for today.
6:43am - Traffic accident. Belmont and Milwaukee.
7:18am - Traffic accident. 2315 N Hamlin.
7:21 to 10:00am - Went back to sleep.
10:11am - Burglar alarm. 2339 N Harding.
10:41am - Beat 2575Sam asks for a POD mission event number for Kelvyn Park High School. It's 05329.
11:48am - Child abuse. 1710 N Springfield. 7 yr old was abused, possibly by the father.
12:39pm - Traffic accident. George and Pulaski.
12:42pm - Some call in the area.
1:18pm - Battery in progress. Milwaukee and Hamlin. Beat 5595 reports an on-view fight. No further details...
1:19pm - A disregard is given on the 1:18pm job.
1:46 to 2:49pm - Fell asleep. Sorry.
3:45pm - Burglar report. 2440 N Hamlin.
5:28pm - Traffic accident. Palmer and Springfield.
7:30pm - I have to go eat. I''ll be back.
7:42pm - Battery in progress. 2942 N Kenosha. People fighting in the street.
7:50pm - I'm officially back.
8:03pm - Loud music disturbance. 2414 N Central Park.
8:26pm - Backlog in 25 at 20:26 hours.
9:27pm - Gang disturbance. 1900 block of N Monticello.
11:20pm - Battery in progress. 2831 N Kilbourn. Two guys duking it out in front.
11:24pm - A slow down is being given on the 11:20pm job.
11:45pm - Criminal damage. 1651 N Monticello. The street lights were broken out.
12:05am - Alright, am off to bed. I'll be back in the morning. Good night, people.

Why would you post a picture of yourself as a Koz Cobra?
Well you can clearly also bring to the next CAPS meeting that the CPD really needs to do a little google searching and they will find gangbangers all day online spouting off.
Tie their myspace account emails and dig around into some reverse DNS records, you could pretty much find out where, when, and what calls they are making on what cellphone or tap into communications if you have the right means.
Ah well, I thought I'd post this here so you all can put a face on one of these fools.

Anonymous 9:45, so this Cobra's nickname is Baby C? As far as him putting himself out there, I guess he's not scared of letting people know that he's a Cobra from Koz Park. And, from what I saw on his profile, he's got other Cobras added. Yep, they all have Myspace pages. I would think that CPD has more serious things to tend to than sitting in the station on computers, doing Google searches on gangbangers, but I guess maybe it wouldn't hurt to suggest that at my next CAPS meeting next month (I will not be attending this month's meeting because I'll be on vacation from this blog, CAPS, etc.). You're right that you could tie their myspace emails with records, and see what kind of phone calls they're having/making.
