Stolen Bikes At Public Storage On Pulaski

Good morning, everyone, it's 8am. Feeling much better today. For the first time in about two weeks, I actually slept good. My stomach only hurts a little and my throat is only a little sore. I think that I'll be completely better by the end of the weekend, which would be great. Anyway, we're in for a beautiful day. Mid 80s, lots of sun. Also, tomorrow, I'm monitoring 14 all day. Here is crime for today.

9:15am - Information for the police. 2638 N Pulaski. At the Public Storage place, there are two containers full of stolen bikes.

9:57am - Disturbance. 3124 N Milwaukee Ave. About 12 people loitering on the side of Mulica's (a liquor store).

11:06am - Domestic battery. 3639 W Shakespeare. Sister and boyfriend fighting.

12:17pm - Theft. 2552 N Hamlin. Car was broken into.

12:22pm - EMS run. 3067 N Milwaukee. Drunk down.

12:26pm - Report of a fight brewing at Armitage and Ridgeway. Two males fighting, with a group gathering like they're going to jump in.

1:13 to 2:06pm - Fell asleep. Sorry.

2:13 to 3:22pm - Again, I fell asleep. Sorry.

3:43pm - Disturbance. 3025 N Monticello. Four of the lovelys drinking and discarding their beer bottles all over the ground.

3:47pm - Disturbance. 4400 W Diversey. Problem with the cashier holding the caller's state ID.

4:26pm - Loud music disturbance. 2418 N Kildare.

4:41pm - Beat 2561Adam needs a transport from the Shell gas station at Fullerton and Pulaski. Originally, 2573 was assigned to go, but since they're all the way at Diversey and Mason, 2533 came up and volunteered to come. They're way closer.

4:46pm - 1) Municipal ordinance violation. 3140 N Monticello. 2) Disturbance. 4158 W Fletcher. Kids on motor scooters.

4:48pm - Some call at Mozart Park involving a female Black, 15 yrs old, light complected, medium build, 5'5, 150 lbs, curly hair in a ponytail, purple t-shirt and blue shorts.

5:29pm - Beat car 2523 has a traffic stop at 3703 W Belmont.

5:33pm - 1) Burglar alarm. 2404 N Ridgeway. 2) Criminal damage. Avers and Schubert. Group of kids broke the mirror on the caller's car.

5:40pm - 3140 Monticello is coded 2Boy. With that, 2523 is going over to 4158 Fletcher.

5:43pm - Beat 2530 says that there is no 2404 Ridgeway. He's correct. I looked it up, comes back to 3732 W Fullerton. The alarm is coded.

5:44pm - Domestic battery. 3143 N Milwaukee Ave. In the parking lot of Taco Bell.

5:49pm - The 5:44pm job is coded. No domestic found. Now 2523 is going over to Fletcher.

6:27pm - 1) Gang disturbance. Barry and Central Park. They're flashing. 2) Barking dog. 2827 N Ridgeway. Dog barks in the back for 15 hours, seven days a week.

6:43pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back soon.

7:05pm - I'm back.

7:08pm - Disturbance. Avers and Palmer. Two males on bikes, throwing rocks at passing cars.

8:18pm - 1) Battery in progress. Armitage and Harding. 2) Assault in progress. 1609 N Avers.

8:56pm - Disturbance. 2030 N Keystone.

9:11pm - Suspicious vehicle. 1813 N Pulaski. Car in the alley has been there for about 20 minutes. Unsure what's going on in it.

9:12pm - Theft in progress. 2934 N Lawndale. Four "homeless" guys cutting a wire off a pole. That's a theft? No. Not to me. More like criminal damage.

9:16pm - Disturbance. 2840 N Harding.

9:31pm - Gang disturbance. Monticello and Belmont. Seven of them doing their thing.

9:35pm - Assault in progress. 4419 W Wellington.

9:44pm - Beat car 2524 has a traffic stop at Belmont and Lawndale. 2590 is with them.

9:52pm - Something just happened. Menard and Bloomingdale. Sounds like someone sped off from Beat 2552, then the car crashed and it sounds like the car blew up.

10:06pm - Theft in progress. Mozart Park.

10:21pm - Domestic disturbance. 2821 N Lowell. 17 yr old daughter is arguing with the caller.

10:44pm - Disturbance. 2221 N Keystone. Large group of men getting rowdy on the street.

11:38pm - Person w/ a gun. Wabansia and Lawndale. Vehicle with some kids in it has a gun. It's heading towards North Ave.

12:00am - Ok, I'm out for the night. Will be back with 14 tomorrow. Good night, everyone.
