Robbery At Altgeld and Harding

Good afternoon, everyone, it's 12:19pm. This morning, I monitored from 3:46 to 5am. There were no calls. So, regarding the status on my sickness, it's day 17 I believe of it. My throat is still a little sore, and my stomach still hurts somewhat. I guess I'm making progress here, but I would like to be 100% already. Two and a half weeks of this. I'm really behind on a couple of projects that I need to do. Anyway, it'll be near 90 today, with a mix of clouds, sun and I guess storms combined. So, here is crime for this afternoon and evening.

11:20am - Robbery. Altgeld and Harding. Male White with black clothing robbed the caller. Ran towards Springfield down Altgeld.

11:22am - A witness tells Beat car 2524 that the 11:20am offender is running towards Wrightwood on Harding. The offender is a male White, stocky build, grey t-shirt and black shorts.

11:23am - The offender possibly lives at 2529 N Harding.

11:33am to 12:19pm - Fell asleep. Sorry.

12:33pm - 1) Traffic accident. Altgeld and Kostner. 2) Parker. 2106 N Springfield.

1:01pm - Burglary in progress. 2131 N Avers.

1:52pm - 1) Gang disturbance. Schubert and Lawndale. They're loitering all over. 2) Disturbance. 3124 N Milwaukee. Loiters. Just a guess, but I bet it's the drunks in the alley behind the liquor store (Mulica's), and I bet there is a large group of them back there, too.

2:40pm - Domestic disturbance. 2831 N Springfield. Husband's on drugs.

2:45pm - Beat 2584 is on a stop at Cortland and Lawndale. Female needed for a search.

3:17pm - Stripping the auto in progress. 3600 block of W Diversey. Something about a car having a door on it being taken off. It's parked near Monticello on Diversey.

3:46pm - Beat 2505 is doing a park check at Koz.

4:03pm - Disturbance with drinkers on Beat 2524.

4:08pm - Check the well being. 2539 N Lawndale. Something about 911 calls that keep coming in for CFD at the location.

4:26pm - Gang disturbance. Karlov and Belmont.

4:39pm - Disturbance. 3101 N Haussen. "Homeless" in the alley.

5:01pm - EMS run. 3924 W Altgleld. Female overdosed.

5:27pm - 1) Support unit request. 3633 W Belmont. 14th District wants officers to check for a Nelson Mendoza at this location. 2) Disturbance. 2977 N Lawndale.

5:34pm - There is no Nelson Mendoza at 3633 W Belmont. The job will be coded.

5:41pm - Domestic disturbance. 3845 W Wrightwood. Boyfriend is destroying the apartment, but before he tears up the items, he emails the caller pictures of the items.

5:47pm - Beat 2593 pulls an RD number for a traffic accident from 4151 W Fullerton. The RD number is HS445786 under the event number of 13873.

6:21pm - Disturbance. 2337 N Monticello. Group hanging out.

6:22pm - Beat car 2525 is getting a couple of things on the PDT.

6:46pm - Assault in progress. Nelson and Tripp. Group of teens about to fight on the street. Originally came in as a disturbance.

6:53pm - EMS run. 4400 W Parker. Man down.

7:01pm - Disturbance. 2423 N Monticello. Male is interfereing with the bank worker on scene, who's trying to take photos and what not of the building.

7:04pm - Recover stolen vehicle. 1753 N Lawndale.

7:09pm - Assault in progress. 3607 W Fullerton. At Tony's. Man in a red t-shirt threatening the caller.

7:10pm - I have to go eat. I'll be back.

7:30pm - I'm back.

7:43pm - They're calling back on the 5:41pm job. Now he's got a gun.

8:04pm - Municipal ordinance violation. 2018 N Hamlin.

8:30pm - Disturbance. Fullerton and Central Park. Problem at the tire shop. It's actually on 14's side, according to officers.

8:33pm - Traffic accident. Springfield and Belmont.

9:40pm - Disturbance. 2939 N Lawndale. Male neighbor is taking pictures of the caller's kids.

10:08pm - Some call at 2213 N Central Park. Ironically, this made it over to 25's board, when the address hits off to Beat 1413.

10:11pm - Domestic disturbance. 2659 N Springfield. Problem with the son.

10:13pm - Narcotics. 29X3 N Springfield. Four males selling.

10:19pm - Backlog in 25 at 22:19 hours.

10:26pm - Domestic disturbance. 2836 N Springfield. Problem with the husband.

10:36pm - Domestic battery. 2521 N Lowell. Boyfriend hit the sister.

11:11pm - Another call just came in on the 10:36pm job. Bunch of people arguing in front now.

11:38pm - Burglar alarm. 2314 N Central Park.

12:00am - I'm gone for the night. I'll be back in the morning. Good night, everyone.
