Good morning, everyone, it's 11:14am. I had something to do this morning at the 911 center, so that's why I'm just now here. I'm glad to be back, because riding the Madison bus heading back Downtown was not good. The bus was so crowded that people were standing all the way to the doors. At a couple of stops, people couldn't get on at all. Anyway, it's still really hot out. I was sweating to no end again, LOL. Enough with the goofing around on my part, here's crime for today.

Hey Tim I got a question i just moved to the hood from the southside. I took a pretty long walk today to get a fell of whar the hood was like on my walk by north and lawndale there was five teens 15-18yrs old two of them had gang shirts you know gang symbols and stuff and the others ones had green tees if i called the police on them can they of gotten arrested or no? They were hollering gang slogans and i was 100% sure two of them had guns they were walking in front of me and when they walked it looked like he had a gun. Im used to crime but this look kind of crazy because police passed by them and they didnt stopped them or frisk them. Anyhow you got a new fan me lol i live by the border line of logan square and humboldt park.
Hey Dwayne,
If they're walking around and hollering signs, the police can't do much about them. At best, they can stop them, search them and write "contact cards" on them. And/or make them leave the area.
If you saw a gun for sure, that's a different story. They would go to jail.
If you're from the southside (especially the 'hood), this ain't nothing, lol. Or it'll probably be the same to you as you dealt with back on the southside.
Just a heads up.
My apartment building at Diversey and Monticello was broken into twice this week. Once on Wednesday night and again Friday evening.
Thanks for the blog.
