Good morning, everyone. It's 12:27am. Today, it's going to be nearly 80 degrees, so crime may go up today. I will cover today until my dinner. Here is crime for today.
12:04am - Battery in progress. 2000 block of N Keystone. People fighting from a red Chevy Blazer. This is the last call I'm covering while I sleep, so good night, everyone, and I'll be back in the morning.
9:08am - I've been awake since 8am, but I had some other things to do. I'm here now, though.
9:28am - Beat car 2599 asks for an event number for touring the district. It's 05074.
9:54am - Beat 2506Charlie asks for a DOC mission event number.
9:55am - Beat car 2506C is heading in with one from 4302 W Fullerton.
10:00am - Disturbance. 2965 N Milwaukee. Kids are drinking and causing a disturbance.
10:21am - Alarm. 3035 N Milwaukee. No further information.
10:25am - Domestic disturbance. 2837 N Kildare. Problem with the wife.
10:39am - Domestic disturbance. 3119 N Haussen. On the 3. Husband is acting violent and is yelling at the caller.
10:42am - Domestic Battery. Diversey and Lawndale. Female fighting with male who's got a baby in his hands.
11:03am - The 10:39am job is coded out 19Boy because there was no luck getting the complaint.
11:37am - Theft report. 1747 N Pulaski. At the fire house. Personal cars were broken into.
12:03pm - Traffic accident. Diversey and Konster. Property damage only.
12:10pm - Beat 2523 asks for a SOB Burglary mission on the beat.
12:15pm - Fire run. 3600 W North. No further information.
12:59pm - Now that the sun's starting to come out, I figured the troublemakers would come out. Here's what I got. Gang disturbance at 2040 N Avers. They're gathering on the street.
1:13pm - Disturbance. 3940 W Fullerton. At CVS. Male Black teen, blue shirt, black hat and blue jeans causing a disturbance.
1:20pm - Assist the citizen. 2500 N Avers. Caller wants to make sure the ex boyfriend is gone from the building.
2:16pm - Beat car 2546 gets parkers on 2523's and 2524's beats.
2:32pm - Municipal ordinance violation. 2750 N Lawndale. Dump truck parked on the street.
3:33pm - 1) Disturbance. 2400 N Hamlin. Female Black in a yellow tanktop walking in the middle of the street. 2) Disturbance. 2431 N Lawndale. Kids playing in the vacant house.
4:29pm - Battery in progress. 2843 N Killbourn. Female Hispanic fighting a male Black. They're possibly boyfriend and girlfriend.
4:39pm - A slow down is given on the 4:29pm job.
4:43pm - Beat 2566Adam panickly says that they need another car at North and Ridgeway. Mutiple units are en route. I even see one go past on Diversey.
4:44pm - 1) A couple of slow downs and a disregard are given at the 4:43pm thing. 2) Beat car 2566A only needs a car for a transport now. They had someone running but the subject's in custody.
4:56pm - Domestic disturbance. 2032 N Keystone. 18 yr old son is refusing to leave.
5:24pm - Assault. 1921 N Hamlin. Two male Hispanics in a 4 door Honda Civic threatened some school kids.
6:13pm - Apparently there was a call at Fullerton and Tripp for a "Battery in progress", altough I didn't hear it. Well, another call just came out on it, but it's coded out 5Boy because the crowd's moving along.
6:20pm - I have to go eat now, but I won't be blogging anymore tonight. Good night, everyone, and I'll be back tomorrow.
